When it comes to all things beauty and fashion, the color red is almost always a sure bet. Whether you’re going for a bold red lip or slipping on a crimson dress for that Bumble date, there is a variation of the color that looks good on anyone. When it comes to nail polish, things are no different. But like most beauty products, it can be hard to figure out which one is actually the best. To make the decision a little bit easier, Rank & Style (a site that uses a unique algorithm to figure out the Internet’s favorite fashion and beauty products) has recently revealed the 10 best red nail polishes.
Coming in at number one: OPI’s Big Apple Red. The win doesn’t come as a huge surprise, considering OPI is the most-asked-for brand in the industry. Plus, the fact that it’ll only set you back $6 secures it a solid place in customer’s beauty stashes.
Following close behind Big Apple Red is Butter London Nail Lacquer in Ladybird, Essie Nail Polish in Really Red, Dior Vernis in Rouge and Tom Ford Nail Lacquer in Smoke Red. Christian Louboutin’s $50 nail polish comes in sixth place on the list. So if you were thinking about indulging in a splurge, it looks like you might want to save that chunk of change for some other Sephora goodies.
