Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas shocked the world last month when the pair, who have been together since late 2016, announced that they’d soon be making the trek down the aisle. Now, those nearest and dearest to the couple are helping them to celebrate the happy news with an engagement bash at Mamo restaurant in NYC that not only included all the Joe Bros., but Jonas’s DNCE bandmates, as well.
Nick Jonas gave us a peek at the star-studded bash with a series of black and white photo-booth shots, gifting us with a new moniker for the duo in the process. “Beautiful night celebrating beautiful people. #Jophie,” the singer wrote.
As seen in a series of Instagram stories original posted by party-goer @davidjohnson_28, the party was a swinging one, with the guests of honor breaking it down to classic tunes such as Spice Girls’ “Wannabe” and Mario’s “Let Me Love You.”
There was, of course, also a performance of DNCE’s hit, “Cake by the Ocean,” from Jonas himself.
From there, the bride-to-be, dressed in a white blouse, black slacks, and a loose tie, and her groom duked it out Star Wars style with Champagne sparklers.
TBH? It looked like an absolute BLAST, leaving us more excited than ever for the moment these two DO actually get hitched.
