Meet Dan Walker, the BBC Olympics late-night host who got more than he bargained for when he found himself positioned in front of a couple that was engaged in a form of exercise that wasn鈥檛 exactly part of the Olympic line-up (Read: They appeared to be getting it on).

After receiving several inquiries via social media regarding the couple鈥檚 *questionable* actions, Dan attempted to explain.

鈥淲e鈥檙e not going to zoom in, but rest assured, it鈥檚 not鈥 It鈥檚 not THAT,鈥 he says awkwardly. 鈥淚t鈥檚 just a hug. There鈥檚 a bit of鈥︹ he trails off before saying, 鈥淭hey鈥檙e reading a book!鈥

Mmm hmmm. SURE they are.

Turning around to get a peek for himself, he says, 鈥淭hey鈥檙e reading a book鈥n a strange pose. We鈥檒l find out what the book is, maybe a little bit later on.鈥

Taking to Twitter to 鈥渃larify,鈥 Dan wrote the following.

But the antics didn鈥檛 end there!

During the course of his coverage, Dan鈥檚 segment has also been privy to a man urinating in the sea, as well as being bombarded by what he calls a 鈥渉en party鈥 (Bachelorette to us), who all but took over the show, chanting the bride鈥檚 name of 鈥淢aria鈥 as well as 鈥淏BC.鈥

Now, he鈥檚 been the victim of a subtitles mishap, which sees the screen showing a VERY different term than the 鈥渕essed about鈥 one Dan meant to say.

Oh. Em. GEE!

It鈥檚 a been a wild two weeks, eh Dan?

Here鈥檚 to handling every strange event Rio had in store for you like a champ.
