Kim Kardashian West may have proclaimed that selfies were over, but if Amy Adams is any indicator, the reality star may have gotten it wrong: In fact, they’re just getting started!
Adams, 43, didn’t let the fact that she doesn’t have her own Instagram account stop her from (finally!) getting on the trend.
Rather, her makeup artist helped the red-headed star show off his handiwork on his own page, saying, How did #AmyAdams do for her first selfie ever on Instagram tonight?”
From where we’re sitting, the Justice League star nailed it — not only was her makeup totally on point and her eyes a stunning shade of crystal clear blue (is that a filter?!), but her outfit, which consisted of a black lace ensemble, was also wow-worthy.
The beauty guru also gave us hope that the mommy of one would soon be joining the ranks of other celebs, such as Elizabeth Olsen and Jennifer Garner, who were late to the social media game, only joining in recent months.
“She doesn’t have an account yet, but hopefully soon,” he teased of his client.
We’re definitely on board with the idea — perhaps it would also help fans to distinguish her from Isla Fisher, who recently admitted that she’s frequently confused for the five-time Oscar nominee (once by Lady Gaga).
Hey, better late than never, right?
