I made a terrible mistake on my last vacation: I failed to thoroughly research the resort I was staying at before booking my trip. Instead, I quickly scanned the resort’s website to find that it had great reviews, a variety of tropical drink selections, and gorgeous oceanside views. What more could I want? After years of hard work at my job, I was desperate to book a trip where I could sit back, relax, and enjoy soothing ocean waves right beside my lounge chair.
