Alfredo pasta is one of the easiest dishes you can cook at home (almost as easy as these copycat burger recipes). It normally takes less than 15 minutes to make and only requires a few ingredients. While cooking this all-time favorite is always a good idea, buying pasta sauce from the jar really isn鈥檛. Ready-made sauce usually comes with loads of unnecessary sugar. Even though ready-made sauce is the easiest option, creating your own homemade pasta sauce doesn鈥檛 have to be hard. That鈥檚 where this delicious Alfredo concoction comes in. Cauliflower Alfredo sauce is a great way to have your favorite comfort food without feeling like going into a coma after eating it. It鈥檚 healthy, delicious and doesn鈥檛 take long to make. So instead of reaching for that jar at the grocery store, make your pasta come to life with your very own sauce. Enjoy the healthy pasta聽recipe below.

Ingredients:
鈥 5-6 cups cauliflower florets

鈥 2 Tablespoons butter

鈥 2 teaspoon minced garlic

鈥 1 teaspoon salt

鈥 1/2 teaspoon pepper

鈥 1/2 cup milk

鈥 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese (optional)

ingredients

Instructions:

1. Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the cauliflower florets to the water. Let it cook for about 7-10 minutes.

2. In a skillet over low heat, add the butter and garlic. Cook until the garlic has a sweet smell, not browned (usually around 30 seconds).

3. Once the cauliflower is cooked, transfer it over to a blender. Add one cup of the water from the pot, milk, garlic, salt and pepper, and blend for a few minutes until it is completely smooth. Add more liquid if you would like the sauce to be thinner.
