Cocoagraph Turns Your Favorite Photos into Chocolate Polaroids
Ever loved a photo so much you just wanted to eat it right up? Hmm. No? Ok, let us rephrase that. Planning an event, brainstorming a birthday present, creating a save the date, or looking for a random gift for your significant other that tastes as sweet as it looks? Introducing the Cocoagraph.
Created by hand in Philadelphia, Cocoagraphs are artisan chocolate bars printed with edible Polaroid-style photographs. The chocolate tone brings to mind all those fancy Hipstamatic, Instagram, and Path filters we can't live without, and the joining of digital and edible is pretty much our dream come true.
Each Cocoagraph is made to order, and you can choose from milk, white, dark, or organic dark chocolate.
To create the most personalized piece of chocolate we've ever seen, head to the Cocoagraph website. First, choose between a Life Size Cocoagraph ($8.50) or a Bite Size 3-Pack ($12). Next, you can choose what kind of border: Square White, Rectangle White, Bottom White with Custom Message, No Border, or your own Instagram border. Last, but certainly not least (!), it's time to upload your photo.
Photos should be 200 dpi+ which means almost all those filtered smartphone photos of yours are good to go! You'll get a proof by email before they print it, and then all of you have to do is sit by the mailbox. (Fair warning: Shipping is around $7.50 within the US, putting your total for one Cocoagraph around $18.)
We'll definitely be adding this to our list of the best ways to make analog awesomeness from our digital archive. Placing an order for our first Cocoagraph right… now! Check back in on our blog to see the results. Until then, enjoy this whimsical chocolate portrait session. ;)
