Some pretty amazing announcements have been released about the future of our beloved Disney Parks. In addition to the fact that guests can bring their pooches to Disney World hotels, there鈥檚 massive transformations in store for Disney鈥檚 California Adventure鈥檚 Paradise Pier. We鈥檝e got all the deets about the space that鈥檚 turning into 鈥 wait for it 鈥 Pixar Pier, and TBH, we couldn鈥檛 be more excited.

Disney first revealed their plans to revamp California Adventure鈥檚 pier at the D23 Expo back in July, but gave little away about the revamp of its park-goer鈥檚 favorite waterside getaways. Luckily, Disney Parks Blog has broken down the specifics, filling us in on its new Pixar-themed attractions, restaurants, and memory-making fun that will be introduced in the summer of 2018.

The new pier will be made up of four distinct neighborhoods inspired by popular Pixar films. The first, all about The Incredibles (a franchise focusing on a family of fab superheroes), will see the California Screamin鈥 rollercoaster morph into the Incredicoaster with a mid-century-modern-style loading area, new character moments, and superhero-like ride updates.

The second neighborhood, inspired by Inside Out (the story of the conflicting emotions inside of one little girl鈥檚 brain), will be found on the western side of the Pier鈥檚 boardwalk. Little else is known, as this particular feature is scheduled to open at a later date.

Neighborhood number three will bring you straight into Toy Story and is centered on the wildly popular Toy Story Mania!, a ride which takes you along on a 4D 鈥渟hootin鈥 game鈥 starring your favorite characters from the film, where players blast moving targets along the way. Yee-haw!

The fourth neighborhood brings everything together by celebrating multiple Pixar movies in one place, with nods to your favorite film characters everywhere you look.

One thing that will remain the same, however, is Mickey鈥檚 iconic smiling face, overlooking all of the fun from the side of Mickey鈥檚 Fun Wheel. Though the gondolas will be getting a Pixar makeover, Mickey will remained untouched (phew!).

As for other staples, such as Ariel鈥檚 Grotto restaurant and the Cove Bar, they鈥檒l no longer be a part of your world, as they鈥檙e set to be swapped out for a new lounge and grill that will offer views of Paradise Bay and Pixar Pier. We鈥檒l also see new favorites, such as Paradise Gardens, Silly Symphony Swings, Jumpin鈥 Jellyfish, Goofy鈥檚 Sky School, Golden Zephyr, and The Little Mermaid ~ Ariel鈥檚 Undersea Adventure, added in.

Many of the attractions undergoing changes will close January 8, 2018 to accommodate the work that needs to be done. That means if you鈥檝e been planning a trip to enjoy everything that California Adventure鈥檚 Paradise Pier has to offer, you better get moving before it鈥檚 too late!

It should be worth the wait, however, with the new pier鈥檚 launch coinciding with a snazzy celebration deemed 鈥淧ixar Fest鈥 on April 13, 2018, with 鈥淭ogether Forever 鈥 A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular鈥 fireworks, the return of Pixar Play Parade and the 鈥淧aint the Night鈥 parade, and more.

We can鈥檛 wait to check it out!
