There's nothing quite like basking in the glow of a Christmas tree with hot chocolate in hand, watching a holiday movie. We love getting lost in a story that's full of hope, magic, and holiday cheer, filled with themes like friendship, sisterhood, and the passing of the time — it's a reminder of everything that's important in life! But which one to watch first? We rounded up 16 of our favorite films from across the decades, so that while you munch on your favorite holiday recipe, you can prioritize the flick that best represents your Myers-Briggs type. ISTJ - A Christmas Carol

Ebenezer Scrooge lives consumed by greed until the ghost of his late business partner, weighed down by chains, warns him that if Scrooge doesn't change his ways, he'll have a worse fate. Led by the ghosts of Christmas Past, Christmas Present, and Christmas Future, Scrooge spends Christmas Eve learning what love and goodness look like. ISTJs' ability to focus on the present and their detail-oriented nature means they'll benefit from the message of living life to the fullest.

ISTP - It's A Wonderful Life

A guardian angel named Clarence is sent to help George Bailey, a businessman who's so frustrated with life that he's contemplating suicide. Clarence shows him what life — for his friends, his wife, and even the troops in World War II — would have been like if he had never been born. Since ISTP's learn by experience, they'll appreciate the journey that George goes on.

ISFJ - The Polar Express

A young boy who isn't so sure that Santa exists hops on a magical train to the North Pole. Faced with bullies, ghosts, and danger, he learns what friendship and bravery look like, and comes face to face with the magic of Christmas. ISFJs' sensitive nature and eye for detail means they'll enjoy finding the little surprises throughout the movie (like the fact that multiple characters are all played with Tom Hanks!).

ISFP - Elf

Buddy has spent his entire life as an oversized elf in the North Pole. When he learns he's actually a human, he travels to New York City to meet the father he didn't know he had and to get him off the naughty list. INFJ - Little Women

The March sisters — Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy — are struggling to stay in the Christmas spirit with their father fighting in the Civil War. They grow in their relationships, learning about love, loss, and how life continues after death, as they come of age in 1800's Massachusetts. INFJs, with their sensitivity, creativity, and emphasis on deep relationships, will love this story about close-knit sisters.

INTP - Home Alone

When Kevin is accidentally left at home when his family goes on Christmas vacation, he realizes that he has to protect his house from a pair of burglars intent on breaking in. The fact that INTPs work well alone and are good at analyzing systems means they'll love Kevin's crazy, colorful adventure.

INTJ - The Santa Clause

After Scott Calvin accidentally makes Santa Clause fall off his roof, he puts on Santa's suit and finds himself taking his place, leaving his friends and family to wonder where he is. The only problem? The police are also looking for him. INTJs are curious and love abstract concepts, and Scott learning about how to be Santa definitely falls in that category!

INFP - The Holiday

Iris, who lives in London, and Amanda, an LA native, are fed up with their love lives and decide to swap houses for the holiday season. They quickly make themselves at home, finding friends and falling in love along the way. INFPs' affection toward loved ones and their independent nature means they'll love the journeys of these women and all relationships they form.

ESTP - Santa Claus Is Coming To Town

A kind mailman reveals the origin of Santa Claus, his journey to the North Pole, how he had to outsmart an evil mayor to bring gifts to the children of Sombertown. ESTPs are resourceful and energetic, which means they'll love the musical numbers and the way Santa overcomes all odds to bring Christmas to the people who need it.

ESTJ - A California Christmas

Joseph meets Callie when his mother, a real estate tycoon, sends him to buy a dairy farm in Petaluma. Callie mistakes him for her new ranch hand, but he decides to carry on with the charade to gain Callie's trust, unintentionally falling in love with her. Callie is dependable, practical, and hard-working, making this (not to mention the business themes throughout) the perfect movie for ESTJs who share similar qualities.

ESFP - Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

None of the reindeer in the North Pole will play with Rudolph because of his glowing red nose. With an elf named Hermey, who'd rather be a dentist than build toys, and Yukon Cornelius, a prospector searching for silver and gold, Rudolph searches for what belonging and acceptance really mean. There are so many fun scenes that ESFPs and their optimistic, social, spontaneous selves will love this musical.

ESFJ - Miracle on 34th Street

When the Santa for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade turns up drunk to the event, an old man named Kris Kringle takes his place. He's so popular at the parade that he begins filling in regularly at the department store's 34th street location, and when he claims that he's the real Santa Clause, he must team up with a skeptical little girl named Susan to prove his claim in court. Since ESFJs are kind and love helping others, they'll love this story about the magic of Christmas.

ENFP - Klaus

Smeerensburg is divided between the fueding families, the Ellingboes and the Krums, and when the new postman Jesper meets toymaker Klaus, they begin giving gifts to the children. Their acts of kindness inspire the town to reuinte and start some new traditions. ENFPs are creative, fun, and warm, so they'll love the art in this Oscar-nominated film.

ENFJ - Charlie Brown Christmas

Charlie Brown is not a fan of how Christmas has become commercialized and, hoping that there's more to the holiday, sets out with his trusty pup Snoopy and best friend Linus to discover the true meaning of Christmas. The deep friendships and heartwarming lessons of love and dependability make this a must-see for empathetic and encouraging ENFJs.

ENTP - Love Actually

Eight different couples, including two newlyweds, a guy and girl who speak different languages, and two kids in their school's Christmas pageant, are dealing with relationship problems throughout the busy holiday season as they prepare for Christmas. ENTPs' innovative and creative nature will love the balance between these stories and the way they weave together.

ENTJ - The Grinch

The Grinch lives in a cave that overlooks the town of Whoville, meaning he can see and hear all their preparations for Christmas. He hates the holiday so he decides to steal it from the Whos, disguising himself as Santa to avoid suspicion, until he realizes that Christmas is much more than presents. ENTJ's, who are assertive and have strong leadership skills, will love the way he takes charge.
