Heidi Klum and Vito Schnabel Have Split After Three Years
Since splitting from her husband Seal in 2012, America’s Got Talent judge Heidi Klum has had her pick of handsome men. Most recently, the model and mom of four had been dating Vito Schnabel, the eldest son of art scion Julian Schnabel. But after three years of dating, the two have gone their separate ways, with Klum telling People, “I believe that it is important to take time to pause and reflect.”
The now-exes were first linked after they were spotted kissing during an Oscars after-party in 2014. Later that spring, they vacationed in Paris together — the first of what would be many romantic getaways. Even as recently as July, they were seen splashing beachside in France.
The relationship wasn’t without its ups and downs, though. Shortly before Schnabel and Klum’s beach vacation this summer, paps snapped some pics of Schnabel allegedly kissing another woman, sparking rumors that he and Klum had split. He later responded to the controversy in a statement to People, saying the photos were a “misinterpretation of an innocent situation” and explaining that he was saying goodbye to a family friend.
It’s unclear when exactly he and Klum called it quits, but the Project Runway host has been keeping very busy recently. She spent the weekend in Las Vegas with friends, introducing 30 Seconds to Mars during the iHeart Radio fest and even catching Jennifer Lopez’s residency, All I Have, at Planet Hollywood. After the performance, she Instagrammed a backstage pic of the stars, captioning it, “Love you @jlo …Your show was absolutely AMAZING #vegas #allihave.”
People reported that Klum and Schnabel’s bicoastal lifestyle was too much for the pair, with friends telling the mag that since the school year began for Klum’s four children, Leni, Henry, Johan, and Lou, she has been concentrating on the kids.
Pre-Schnabel, Klum dated her former bodyguard Martin Kristen, and Schnabel dated actress Demi Moore.
