4 Keto-Friendly Cocktail Recipes That Are Low-Carb (and Delish)

Going low-carb is half the battle when eating keto, but the real challenge is usually giving up sugar-laden cocktails. However, we've discovered some options that come in low-carb, low-cal forms, like avocado margs, a botantical spritz with zero sugar, a diet Moscow Mule, and everyone's favorite juice of the moment — celery — but with gin. Avo-Keto Margarita

(Makes 3 cocktails)

Net Carbs: 2.1 grams

Ingredients:

  • 6 ounces Don Julio Reposado Tequila
  • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 avocado, skin and pit removed
  • pinch of salt
  • ice
  • cilantro, for garnish
  • chili lime salt, to garnish
  • lime wheel, to garnish

Directions:

  1. Combine tequila, fresh lime juice, avocado, and salt into a blender with 2 1/2 cups of crushed ice; blend until texture is smooth.
  2. Pour contents into a rocks glass rimmed with chili lime salt over fresh ice.
  3. Garnish with cilantro and a lime wheel.

Gin and Greens

(Makes 1cocktail)

Net Carbs: 1.2 grams

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 ounce The Botanist Gin
  • 1 1/2 ounces fresh celery juice
  • 1/2 ounce fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • ice
  • 3 ounces soda water
  • celery stalk, to garnish

Directions:

  1. Add gin and juices into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake until chilled.
  3. Strain into a highball glass filled with ice.
  4. Top with soda water, and garnish with celery stalk.

Botanical Spritz

(Makes 1 cocktail)

Net Carbs: 0 grams

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 ounces Ketel One Botanical Cucumber & Mint (can also substitute other flavors Grapefruit & Rose or Peach & Orange Blossom)
  • 3 ounces Fever Tree Club Soda
  • ice
  • cucumber slices, to garnish
  • mint sprigs, to garnish

Directions:

  1. Fill a wine glass with fresh ice and add Ketel One Botanical.
  2. Top with club soda.
  3. Stir, then add cucumber slices and mint sprigs to garnish.

Andean Mule

(Makes 1 cocktail)

Ingredients:

  1. Fill a rocks glass with fresh ice and add vodka.
  2. Top with diet ginger beer.
  3. Stir, then add lime wedge and rosemary sprig to garnish.
