Kristen Bell’s ‘Game of Thrones’-Related Freak-Out Is So Relatable
Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard aren’t shy about sharing their love of Game of Thrones. New episodes of the HBO series are still months away, but thanks to Shepard’s Instagram, we have something else to watch (and rewatch) in the meantime: a hilarious video of Bell’s emotional response to one of the most infamous episodes in the show’s history.

“Throwback to @kristenanniebell’s reaction [to] Game Of Thrones’ red wedding episode,” the Chips actor captioned an Instagram post on May 27. In the video, you can hear Bell sniffling as Shepard walks around the couch to focus the camera on her. “Honey, what happened?” he asks. Bell, noticing that she’s being filmed, laughs through her tears and says, “I don’t like this show anymore.”
When her husband asks why, she explains (still sobbing), “Because they went too far this time. Because I think that they really crossed the line in this episode.” While Shepard laughs off-screen, Bell adds, “It’s a bad show.”
The Good Place actress reposted the video on her own account, writing, “Despite the fact that I was barely coherent, I stand by my statements in this video.”
Of course, Bell’s distress over the episode didn’t stop her from watching the rest of the show. She and Shepard have been known to partake in Game of Thrones cosplay and even showed up to the season 6 premiere in matching GoT shirts that read, “Stark in the streets. Wilding in the sheets.” They also released a Game of Thrones-themed music video that has to be seen to be believed.
Game of Thrones is set to return for its eighth and final season in 2019.
