Kristin Cavallari Posts Cryptic Message After Hubby Jay Cutler’s Football Injury
Over the summer, Kristin Cavallari celebrated Jay Cutler’s return to the NFL with a sweet Instagram post. But over the weekend, when her hubby suffered an injury on the field, the former MTV star shared a message about “this football sh*t” that’s both cryptic and revealing.
Soon after Cutler was knocked out of Sunday night’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a concussion, Cavallari took to her Instagram Stories. Alongside a shot of her feet propped up on a table in the family area of the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, she added the message, “Sometimes I wish I could just say how I really feel about this football sh*t… And give commentary about what I’m realllllly thinking. How great would that be.”
The football player previously decided to retire from playing last year after he was released from the Chicago Bears. But soon after, he signed a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins, after their starting QB Ryan Tannehill suffered a season-ending injury.
Prior to that deal, though, Cavallari had expressed her excitement about Cutler’s retirement, telling Us Weekly, “Selfishly I’m excited for him to be safe from now on. It will be nice not to see him get hit anymore and it will be nice to have him around a lot more. And I’m just excited for this new career. He’ll be doing NFL commentary [as an NFL analyst for Fox Sports] so it’s a great way for him to stay involved in football without having to get hit every week. I’m very excited for the future for him.”
The quarterback and the former reality TV star have been married since 2013 and have three young children together: four-year-old Camden, three-year-old Jaxon, and 20-month-old Saylor.
