Summer reading is the best kind of reading. You’ve got sunny weather, park sessions and beach days to get through some serious pages. And whether you’re brushing up on your YA reads, breaking out the first-time daddy books (we’re looking at you, JT!) or are in the mood for a little series action, we’ve got you covered. You know what will make your reading more enjoyable? The LiliLite.

This Kickstarter project has us mesmerized by its unique concept: It’s a bookshelf, reading light and bookmark all in one. Reach up for the book and the light goes on, and put it back after reading and the light goes off. Simple? Yes. Genius? Most definitely.

You can double mount them for really cool bedside sconces, and you can even use it to store your tablets and other reading devices. It can hold everything from heavy cookbooks to children’s books and is a great space-saver for those small bedrooms.

If the LiliLite gets funded on Kickstarter (18 days to go, folks!), it will begin shipping in November of this year. So be sure to back it and pre-order one for all your bibliophile family members and friends for the holidays.

What would be on your LiliLite shelf? Tell us in the comments!
