Meghan Markle is weeks away from being officially inducted into the British royal fam, and in the meantime, the stylish actress has been racking up an impressive number of official appearances. While some of her public looks have certainly courted controversy (more on that later), the American-born Markle seems to have a hairstyle for every occasion. Scroll through to see how she's serving up unique styles for all the special moments in life.
Messy Bun: This was the messy bun seen around the world. During Markle's first appearance of 2018, the Suits alum sported the casual-cool messy 'do. While there were plenty of critics, we stand by it. We'd wear it to a girl's brunch or happy hour with your work wife. It's easygoing yet practical. What's not to love? Big Beauty Queen Curls: The Suits alum's polished curls, which she wore to attend the Terrence Higgins Trust World AIDS Day charity fair in December 2017, is actually the perfect look for any major occasion, like meeting your partner's parents for the first time or going to your high school reunion. Beachy Waves: Nothing is more California than soft, lived-in beachy waves. The Los Angeles-born Markle sported the casual style with a center part during her visit to Edinburgh, Scotland in February. If you don't happen to have some salty ocean air handy, spritz a texturizing mist into your strands and give your ends a good scrunching to achieve a similar look. Can anyone say vacation hair? Sleek Lengths (With a Beret!): She wore this appropriately classy look to the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey last month. Sport a similar style to a work dinner, a winter wedding, or just to the café for your morning coffee and baguette. (Photo via Karwai Tang/WireImage)
Undone Chignon: During her visit to Belfast, Northern Ireland last month, she opted for a slightly tousled updo. This slightly undone updo is pretty but not overly styled — which is ideal for occasions where you want to make an effort but not look like you're trying too hard. Wear it on a first date or when you're meeting your S.O.'s friends. (Photo via Samir Hussein/Samir Hussein/WireImage)
Polished Side Part: Markle presented at the Endeavour Fund Awards in February with a deep side part and polished curls. Everything about this coif says powerful and capable. Try this look out for a job interview or the next time you're giving a speech at the UN (lol). For an extra boost of confidence, pair it with a smart suit, like Markle's Alexander McQueen ensemble. Windswept Casual: During her visit to the UK Team Trials for the 2018 Invictus Games Sydney in April, Markle opted for loose, undone locks with her go-to center part. It's not too straightened and you can see some of her natural texture showing through. This look is definitely her casual everyday fave. Whether to the grocery store or a hangout with pals, it's perfect for any occasion. (Photo via Samir Hussein/WireImage)
