There were plenty of gorgeous gowns to swoon over at last night’s Grammy Awards, but one of the most stunning style moments of the evening happened OFF the red carpet. Miley Cyrus, who started the night in an understated black velvet Jean Paul Gaultier pantsuit, came out for her performance with Elton John in a dramatic burgundy ballgown that made her look like a legit princess. The floor-grazing frock from designer Zac Posen featured heaps of crimson tulle — both on the skirt and wrapped around its sleeves — to create a silhouette that had us flashing back to Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty’s pink ballgown.
The “Malibu” singer’s hair was equally glamorous, with slick, dramatic waves and a deep side part.
While we’ve seen some *extra* looks from the singer in our day (you might recall the crazy tiered hot pink number she wore to an episode taping of The Voice, it was definitely one of the girliest pieces we’ve seen the singer in thus far, and it was refreshing to see her softer side.
. “…Tonight was magic! Celebrating artists, movements, music, love ….” the 25-year-old expressed via Instagram. “Thank you for having me, Sir Elton!”
Thank YOU for gracing us with this look, Miley!
