Mindy Kaling’s Homemade Cards Are the Best Last Minute Easter DIY
We already knew that Amanda Seyfried is a pro at crocheting and that Kat Dennings is a fellow Pinterest addict but it looks as though Mindy Kaling is yet another celeb who loves to DIY. The actress, writer, producer and all around awesome human being took to Instagram yesterday to share the festive Easter cards she made.
Already a pro at this whole DIY tutorial thing, Mindy took a shot of each step included in her paper project and TBH, we’re super impressed with her skills. (Mindy, you have a job as a guest DIY editor here anytime.) She captioned this step-by-step snap, “It’s easy! You can do it too, with old wrapping paper, ribbon, paper from your printer, glue stick or tape.”
Mindy then followed up with a much anticipated final shot. Next to the finished cards she wrote, “I’m sending Easter baskets to two little kids this year, my godson Makua and my cousin’s baby Josie. Everything in the baskets I selected from my favorite LA spots but I wanted something to be homemade, so they don’t think Auntie Min is an obsessive workaholic who outsources presents like the protagonist in a bad indie movie. I think these carrot cards came out great! Happy Easter!” Wow, just when we thought we could love Mindy anymore she goes ahead and does something like this.
