There Was a Mini Harry Potter Reunion Last Night and Fans Lost Their Minds
We will *always* get excited about Harry Potter reunions, big or small. When Emma Watson invited Matthew Lewis (AKA Neville Longbottom) and Tom Felton (AKA Draco Malfoy) to the Beauty and the Beast premiere, we were thrilled. But that’s apparently nothing compared to the reaction fans had when Emma Watson bumped into a certain member of the Weasley family on the red carpet.
No, it wasn’t Ron Weasley (AKA Rupert Grint), but instead his little sister, Ginny Weasley, IRL actress Bonnie Wright. Showing up to celebrate last night’s premiere of Emma Watson’s new film The Circle (which also stars America’s friendliest dad Tom Hanks and Star Wars’ John Boyega), Watson warmly greeted Wright when the two met up unexpectedly.
And fans… went… nuts!
According to Refinery29, there was a whole lotta screaming and crying from fans in the crowd. We fully admit we’d get (overly?) excited if we were to witness such a reunion, but we’re not sure we’d scream and cry.
Who are we kidding?! Of course we would! And we’re obviously not alone…
