This Former Olympic Gymnast Just Gave Birth and Her Daughter’s Name Is Solid Gold

The Olympics are well under way in Rio (and in Leah Remini’s living room), but it’s former Olympic gymnast Alicia Sacramone (she took home a silver medal with her teammates at the Beijing Games back in 2008) who is already taking home REAL gold this year. The 28-year-old and her hubby, football quarterback Brady Quinn, have just welcomed a baby girl into the world!
Born on Friday, (“Just in time for the Olympic Opening Ceremonies!” Alicia joked on Instagram), the babe is a happy and healthy little bundle of joy who arrived into the world weighing in at 6lbs 5oz and measuring 20.5 inches long. In addition to being beyond cute, she has the coolest moniker: Sloan Scott Quinn. What a creative baby name! It’s strong; it’s totally unique and, we must say, we love it.
“Yesterday @bradyquinn and I welcomed our little blessing of a daughter,” gushed Alicia, who revealed the exciting news with this too-cute-for-words black and white selfie.
Brady shared an equally cute snap, writing, “Been called a lot of things in my life. Can’t imagine there is anything greater than being called ‘Dad.’ The SSQ has arrived. Welcome Sloan Scott Quinn to the world.”
Talk about a picture-perfect moment worthy of its own medal! Congratulations, you two!
