This Dream Job Will Pay You to Travel and Drink Beer
Today just so happens to be St. Patrick’s Day, and people all over the place are going to be hitting up their local Irish pub. That’s why this dream job posting is kind of perfect in terms of timing. Dream jobs are popping up all over the place lately, like the opportunity to get paid to watch Netflix all day or the gig to make moolah from your Instagram pics. And here comes another one that’s more for the adventure-seeker than the couch potato (not that there’s anything wrong with being a couch potato, TV-lovin’ tater). For this gig you need to like travel, beer and making money. Sound like you? Then read on!
World of Beer is looking to hire three “Drink It Interns” for the summer to “travel, explore beer and get paid.” For real. According to the listing on the website, “We’re inviting a team of interns to travel the world, hopping from brewery to brewery, WOB tavern to WOB tavern to explore beer for themselves and share their stories with WOB drinkers across the country.” Cheers!
So who gets to be a Drink It Intern? “Whether you’re a photographer or writer, social media maverick or beer blog surfer, we are looking for you. Adventure seekers and storytellers, beer experts or novices, brewery nerds and foodie fans all open to apply, ” the job description reads. “So if you want to live, drink and tell the tale to the world, get ready to apply for the chance to share your experience as a Drink It Intern.” It goes without saying that you have to be of legal drinking age. The role pays $12,000 for the summer, which is a pretty sweet salary for basically having a good time. Get your application ready, brew-heads, because you have until March 26 to toss your name in the hat.
We’re pretty confident that competition for this job is going to be stiff. Sláinte!
