Blake Lively Pulls Off an Impossible Color Combo
Yellow is perhaps the most notoriously difficult color for most people to wear, but Blake Lively somehow just pulled off head-to-toe sunshine yellow.
The All I See Is You actress appeared on Good Morning America in a bright yellow top long-sleeved paired with matching yellow wide-legged pants, adding a matcing belt for good measure. It worked flawlessly, as if there was any doubt.
She rocked full ’60s vibes for her interview, wearing a mod ponytail (regrettably not another short lob) and accessorizing with structured statement gold jewelry, dark nails, and Charlotte Olympia leopard platform pumps.
The Gossip Girl alum discussed her new movie and also the allegations against Harvey Weinstein, whom she’s known for many years. She reflected that though she never experienced harassment on his behalf, we should recognize that this is a universal problem. “I think it’s important we acknowledge this isn’t just Hollywood,” she says. “This is so much more global. And this isn’t, ‘Oh, guess what, this is what’s happening to women suddenly.’ This has been happening to women since the beginning of time, but now people are finally talking about it, and I think that’s what’s important.”
