IKEA’s Latest Art Collection Is Gallery Wall Gold
If you’ve been dreaming of adding a gorgeous gallery wall to your adobe, look no further than your fave affordable retailer, IKEA. The store just announced an upcoming launch named NORRHASSEL that’ll feature eight stunning posters to dress up your walls for less. With the famed camera brand Hasselblad and some seriously talented photographers involved, it’s bound to be the best solution to meet your Champagne-taste needs on a beer budget.
This release falls right in line with IKEA’s commitment to making beautiful contemporary pieces available to everyone — art included. “Photography is a vital way to express yourself and showcase the world from your perspective… With this collection of images, both IKEA and Hasselblad aim to inspire people to continue capturing the world, while offering stunning photographs to those looking to make their home unique,” says Marcus Engman, Head of Design for the retailer.
The pictures themselves capture a full range of subjects, with everything from colorful artifacts to black and white animals, and come conveniently sized to fit both the store’s IKEA RIBBA ($15) and LOMVIKEN ($20) frames. While they won’t be available for purchase until August (*reaches for planner*), the limited-edition collection is expected to sell like hotcakes. Especially with a $20-$25 price point. We’d suggest shopping in-store at the start of the month to scoop them up ASAP.
