John Cena Has This One Super Sweet Requirement for His Wedding With Nikki Bella
We already knew WWE star John Cena was a romantic after he admitted to (sort of) popping the question to his wrestling girlfriend, Nikki Bella, prior to ever actually getting down on one knee. He also gave himself away by designing a jaw-dropping ring with special meaning to the couple more than a year before she ever laid eyes on it. Now, the wrestling star has exposed his softer side once more to dish the dirt on the couple’s upcoming nuptials. While the bride-to-be has plenty of plans for her wedding, Cena has just one, super sweet requirement for the big day.
33-year-old Bella told ET she definitely has a clear vision of what her wedding will be like, saying, “I envision, like, 150 people, ’cause I still want to keep it very private and intimate, and my side of the family makes it like 150.”
She’s also got some big ideas about the dress code, adding, “I want black tie. I just love the elegance of black tie, and depending on what season we get married, [there] will be, like, florals. Like, I’m going to have a lot of florals, so I don’t know how much they’ll cost, but I hear they cost a lot. But I don’t care. I want it to be drenched with flowers.” We can just picture it now!
Cena, on the other hand, had a far more simple request that’s so sweet we can see why Bella fell for him. “I just wanna make sure that it’s a good day,” the 40-year-old admitted. “We’ve made our lives very public and I think the world knows that it’s been a lot to just get to that proposal moment. I want [Nikki] to be as happy as she was at that moment. As long as we have that happiness on that day, I think I’m good.” Aaaaw!
Given that statement alone, we have no doubt that they’ll be swimming in happiness when the big day finally rolls around.
