Kristin Cavallari Got Her Baby Name Inspiration from a Surprising Place
As every future mom knows, when it comes to picking out the perfect baby name for your newborn you search high and low for inspo. Whether you turn to celebs for a unique name for your new family member or turn back time to choose a timeless name, there are plenty of outlets to find the right one. But what about taking a peek at dog names for baby name inspo? Have you ever thought of that route? Someone that was indeed inspired by canine monikers is former Laguna Beach/The Hills star Kristin Cavallari and her husband Chicago Bears QB Jay Cutler.
The mother of three-year-old Camden and 16-month-old Jaxon, who adorably shared she’s having a little girl around Thanksgiving, chatted with Cricket’s Circle and discussed how she already has a name picked out for her third child that, yes, is tied to a dog’s name.
“We picked out this baby girl’s name when I was pregnant with our first. I met a woman and her dog, and I loved her dog’s name. Funny enough, it was the name she had picked out if she had a girl, but she had boys, so she used it for her dog instead,” shared Kristin. “Here we are 3.5 years later, and we are going to use that name for our little girl!” Got any guesses as to what that pup-influenced name could be?
In addition to the name hint, the maternity wear rockstar also gave her thoughts on push presents. Spoiler alert, she’s into ’em. “I’m all for push presents! We go through a lot carrying a baby around for 10 months, not to mention pushing it out. Even if it’s a sentimental card, that goes so far. It’s funny because before I knew what a push present was, Jay told me he had gotten me one. (Note: She didn’t want to share what it was, but we coerced it out of her!) With Camden, I got my first Birkin bag – he knew I would never buy one for myself. With Jaxon, I got a gorgeous backpack by The Row. TBD with the next one, but it’s safe to say Jay is really good with purses.” Clearly Ashlee Simpson isn’t alone in the designer bag for a push present department.
