Lily Collins Cashing in on Her Harry Potter-Themed Xmas Gift Will Make You Smile
We love following celebs’ antics on social media, and we LOVE Harry Potter (perhaps even moreso now that we’re not little kids anymore), so when we saw visual confirmation that Lily Collins is, in fact, a Potterhead, we were super excited.
The 27-year-old Mortal Instruments actress was given the best Christmas present ever this year by her loving mum, which Lily was all too happy to share with us via Instagram. With a caption that reads: “Proudly letting my Harry Potter fanatic flag fly. Thanks mom! Best Christmas gift ever!…” the post has already gotten 458,614 likes. Wowza!
If you look not-so-closely in the background, you’ll see why she’s so excited: She’s waiting to get in to the Cursed Child show! Jealous much?
Lily has no shame about wearing her Potter glasses — complete with Harry’s (pre-Hermione and her fancy wandwork) Scotch-tape mending skills — and we love her for her commitment: such attention to detail! (But we already knew she knew how to get into character — just check out her red carpet Belle transformation.)
We are eternally grateful to JKR & Co for continuing to supply us with Potter lore (including the FIVE extra movies we never expected), and it appears that Lily is too: Potterheads forever!
