Ryan Gosling Just Made a Confession That May Totally Surprise You
Ryan Gosling may not have snagged an Oscar for his La La Land performance, but he certainly did win over plenty of fans, as well as further charm those who are already crushing hard on him (as well as scoring a stage-side view of the most epic Academy fail of all time). Despite that, the actor has just made a confession about the award-winning film that may totally surprise you.
Gosling may be able to handle his fair share of stressful situations (ya know, as the father to two little ones), but that doesn’t mean he still isn’t rattled on set from time to time. While chatting with the folks over at E!, he was asked what made him more nervous, filming his very first scene with Hollywood legend Harrison Ford for their upcoming movie Blade Runner 2049 or singing and dancing in La La Land.
Though you’d probably assume it would be the Blade Runner sitch that would top the scale of nerve-wracking moments, Gosling actually claims that it was the singing and dancing.
Why’s that? Well, singing and dancing isn’t exactly the actor’s forté (though we think he did pretty darn great), and it turns out that working with Harrison Ford is a breeze. According to Gosling, he’s “just the best… he was so great how he showed up to set, just rolled up his sleeves and got to work. He was the best partner, collaborator you could have.” We’re assuming he means other than Eva Mendes.
Would you be more nervous to work with someone you hugely admire or do something in public that you’re not used to (e.g. singing and dancing)? Let us know @BritandCo!
