Selena Gomez and Her Pals Get the Sweetest Matching Tattoos
The latest celebrity to make the case for matching best friend tattoos is Selena Gomez, who chronicled her spontaneous trip to the tattoo parlor with her three best friends over the weekend. The ladies all got matching ink to celebrate their friendship, further proving why best friend tattoos are the best way to show off your forever love for your closest pals.

In a series of Instagram shots, Gomez and her squad went out for pal Courtney Barry‘s 26th birthday, and while the first part of the celebration involved pizza and pasta galore, the group then commemorated the big day with spontaneous matching ink, each donning the number ‘4’ on various parts of their bodies.
In a caption, the “Back To You” singer explained that they chose the number 4 “because these women have stayed by my side for 7 years (@ashley_cook 12 years) 4, because you are my 4 for the rest of my life. I love you ladies. You all inspire me to be better, stronger, closer to god and we have lived the most INSANE story together already. Can’t wait for 50 more!!”

Gomez got the tat on her forearm as well as a number one with Barry, writing, “And lastly, my actual #1@courtneyjbarry you are an incredible woman. Gomez isn’t the first celeb to get matching tattoos with her BFFs (Demi Lovato recently showed off a powerful new tattoo with her pals honoring her struggles with mental health and addiction), and it’s not even her first time opting for coordinated ink with loved ones. She recently got inked with co-stars from 13 Reasons Why with the group inking a semicolon tattoo on each of their forearms to represent mental health awareness.
