You’ll Want to Get Your Hands on Target’s New Nail Polish
It’s finally cold (actually, freezing) in much of the US, and your hands have probably turned to sandpaper as a result. That’s why it’s the perfect time to draw attention to your nails instead with the new affordable nail care line exclusively at Target (who just announced a collaboration with SoulCycle, don’tcha know). It’s available January 17 in stores and at Target.com, so you won’t even have to leave the warmth of your living room for a salon-quality manicure.
The collection is called Defy & Inspire and features 38 (!) shades, as well as a base and topcoat, with pop culture-inspired names including “Real Housewife” and “Rose Ceremony.” V cute, Tarjay. Better yet, the polish, which sells for $7.49 a bottle, mimics a gel manicure but doesn’t require UV lights. It also comes off with regular polish remover.
“Our guests love coming to Target because we make it easy and affordable for them to update their look, whether that’s a new throw pillow, skirt or fresh new nail color,” says Dawn Block, senior vice president for Target.com and mobile and beauty merchandising for Target.
We’ll probably be leaving the store with all three of these items, because — let’s get real — can you ever just buy one thing at Target?
