5 Tasty Tea Sandwich Recipes

It’s officially back-to-school season, and September has us thinking about sandwiches here at Brit HQ. If you’re looking for a way to upgrade a brown bag lunch, we’ve got five tasty tea sandwiches that are way better than your plain PB&J. Bonus: you can make each one in under 5 minutes. You can cut them into fun shapes for the kiddos, too. Here are five quick and easy takes on the ultimate finger food.

Watercress + Herbed Butter

Watercress gives this simple sandwich a peppery bite. You can make your own herbed butter, or buy it already prepared at a specialty store.

Ingredients:

– watercress

– herbed butter

– sliced white bread

Instructions:

1. Spread herbed butter on each slice of bread. Place a handful of watercress on one of the slices. Top with remaining bread slice.

2. Trim the crusts. Cut into triangles.
