Beauty Vloggers Can’t Stop Obsessing Over These Rose Gold Lipsticks
Thanks to the rise of Kylie Jenner’s lip kits, liquid lipstick now reigns supreme. Whether you’re battling a thousand other beauty buffs for the newest color released by the youngest Kardashian or going for the nearly identical $6 dupe, the once overlooked formula is finally seeing its day in the sun — er, rather, in Instagram selfies. The newest cosmetic brand turning the beauty world on its head: Jouer Cosmetics’ stunning new lip products.
Jouer has had a handful of covetable colors in their repertoire for some time now. Some are matte, similar to Kylie’s, but their standout shades are their new, metallic hues — particularly Bronze Rose and the stunning new “lip topper” in Skinny Dip. The two products are already favorites of major beauty personalities like Angel Merino (better known as MAC Daddy) and Nikkie Tutorials.
The metallic bronze rose shade is essentially the perfect cosmetic adaptation of what’s been trending in hair and style looks for some time now. Anyone still obsessed with rose gold hair? The universally flattering color is part of the brand’s recently released fall collection, which includes six new colors in total.

But if you want to be an early adapter of a lip product that’s about to reach cult favorite status, we suggest snagging a tube of their brand new lip topper (pictured above). The product isn’t quite a lipstick (though, it could be worn on its own if you’re in the mood for something subtle). Instead, it’s just what its name suggests, a perfect finishing touch or topper. The long wear topper is formulated with coconut oil and adds an instant, mermaid-like shimmer to any lip color. Basically, if you want to go from matte maven to a mermaid in five seconds, this is your new BFF.
Ultra sparkly lips have been having a moment, thanks to cult-favorite Pat McGrath’s already sold-out lip kit that was a favorite at NYFW. But while hers retails for $60, Jouer’s rose gold liquid lipstick and lip topper both come in under the $20 mark. But be warned, these also have a tendency to sell-out, so if you’re all about the mermaid life, add them to your cart ASAP.
