LOLI, which stands for Living Organic Loving Ingredients, is the brainchild of Tina Hedges, a beauty-industry veteran who was obsessed with products and probably helped create a few of the beauty balms, potions and lotions you might have at home. She decided to give it all up and go back to her Cuban grandmother’s beauty roots: using only pure beauty ingredients to channel the inner apothecarist. She’s all about having fun with personalized beauty, or BIY (“blend it yourself”), as Hedges calls it.
This translates into ingredients that are local, wild-harvested, organically grown and USDA, EcoCert or food-grade certified, along with packaging that’s made from repurposed materials. You know the drill when it comes to subscriptions: You can do a one-time purchase or three months at a time, all delivered to your doorstep.
Each kit focuses on a different part of your beauty experience, such as face, hair, skin and bath. You’ll receive a “recipe” for suggestions on how to make treatments, such as a brown sugar-and-coffee body scrub and a rejuvenating face mask, putting all the control back in your hands for only $35 a month.
