Sasha and Malia Obama Twinned in Matching Sarongs While on Vacation
Ever since the Obamas left the White House in January, the family has been taking the most epic vacations. They’ve visited the Caribbean and Italy, all the while sporting peak vacation style. Now the whole family is paying a 10-day visit to Indonesia and continuing their tour of giving everyone major FOMO.
On a recent excursion to the Tirtha Empul temple in Bali, Sasha and Malia Obama adhered to the rules for visiting the holy place and sported matching sarongs. The spring water collected at the sacred place is considered holy, and it’s a requirement for visitors to cover up with sarongs before entering.
And while Sasha and Malia clearly were just sporting the loaners that the temple has at the entrance for guests, they still managed to look pretty darn stylish (they are Michelle’s daughters, after all). Under their bright yellow bottoms, the sisters kept a low profile in baseball hats, simple black tops, and sneakers (we’re also loving Sasha’s eternally stylish aviators).
Aside from visiting landmarks, the Obamas have also gone white water rafting in Bongkasa Village in Badung on Bali island, resulting in some very classic vacay photos courtesy of the paps ;). They will also visit Jakarta, where former President Obama spent some of his childhood.
All we know is that we’re waiting to see what they’ll wear next while vicariously living through their trip.
