Proof Miley Cyrus Can Throw a Really Good Party
Everyone loves a party and from what we can gather of Miley Cyrus’ public persona, the star definitely seems like she knows how to have a good time. In between hosting Sunday’s upcoming MTV Video Music Awards, starring as Marie Claire mag’s cover girl-to-be, founding the LGBTQ and homeless youth non-profit Happy Hippie Foundation and making headlines for dating VS Angel Stella Maxwell — Miley found time to throw her dad Billy Ray Cyrus a 54th birthday party yesterday.
She even baked dad this sprinkle, candle and pom pom encrusted confection — all the bright colors are so Miley. She wrote in the caption: “Made a biiiirffffdayyyy cake for papa @billyraycyrus vegannnnnn btw.” Care to share the recipe, Miley?
Miley can also bring the fam together — the whole Cyrus clan turned out to celebrate Billy Ray’s big day and snapped this adorable family portrait. We’re digging the pink unicorn PJs, Miley.
For Brit + Co, we love a good par-DIY element to any shindig, and it looks like (beyond the homemade cake) Miley had some sort of activity guests could get their hands on. Billy Ray got an archeologist toy kit that it didn’t take him long to bust out out. Miley posted this pic of her dad with the gift, writing in the caption: “dad turnt intoooo a geologisssst 4 his biiiiirrrrrfffffdayyyyy! dad of the year every year!!!!!! @billyraycyrus kiewtest!!!!” In the pic, the “Achy Breaky”singer looks super focused as he’s using the brush and archaeologist stick to excavate a little block of… whatever that is.
