See How People Are Reacting to the Heartbreaking Ohio State University Shooting
While the world is still heartbroken over the Orlando shooting, the France terror outbreaks and the Brussels attacks, tragic news is coming out of Ohio right now, as reports of an active shooter (and further updates saying one suspect may have been killed) on Ohio State University’s campus are currently saying that eight people have been injured, one critically. As details trickle in, the internet is reacting to this latest cause for national grieving.

“Buckeye Alert: Active Shooter on campus. Run Hide Fight. Watts Hall. 19th and College,” was the chilling tweet sent out from OSU Emergency Management just before 10am.
Watts Hall is apparently the materials science and engineering building on campus, and OSU senior Anthony Falzarano told CNN that while in his first class of the day, the situation quickly became dire. “We heard a lot of sirens. I was in class and everyone got a text message at the same time for the emergency alert… Someone said they heard popping right before we got the alert, but I didn’t hear it. We are in a shelter-in-place right now in the building next door.”
He added, “The officers are putting on Kevlar vests and have big weapons. I can’t see anyone going inside the building — there’s just so many cops here.”
Students at the university were updating the public on the emergency via social media:

I'm safe in a barricaded room. If you're on campus, get in a room and stay safe. pic.twitter.com/Gaw7gjTx6w
