We’re kicking your Monday off with a major announcement: Blake Lively is pregnant, revealing the news that she and husband Ryan Reynolds are expecting this morning on her website, Preserve — and breaking the Internet in the process. Blake’s radiant bump is to blame for the website being currently down, due to too many connections, it states, but the actress-turned-lifestyle-entrepreneur‘s reveal photo is still circulating the web, and it’s predictably stunning. Sun-drenched Blake stares lovingly at her bump, cradling her brand-new curves in mixed-prints in the photo snapped by her brother, Eric Lively.
E! Online reports that the photo was part of a post dedicated to how the site is, at its core, about celebrating family. “‘Family’ is the single word our founder, Blake, build this home on.”
“We have something for men, for women, for the old, but we realized, we don’t have anything for the new. With family on our mind, we looked to the origin of it all — to the women in our lives who are right there, at that special moment; at the creation of family,” the Preserve editorial team wrote, continuing the post with the promise of more mom-to-be-themed content all month long. From what we see so far, Blake’s already nailing this new mommy stuff with her flawless bump photo.
