People Are HATING on Starbucks New Green Cup Design
Starbucks took some serious heat last year over their red holiday cups that totally lacked any seasonal flair, but that didn’t stop them from keeping their minimalist and somewhat nontraditional theme going strong. This year they’ve released a green cup (yep, GREEN!) along with their holiday drinks, and folks are not pleased. Though we still have to wait for the official release of the annual red cups (if we will indeed see red cups this year), you definitely need to check out the hate the green cups are getting right now on social media.
Though there’s definite confusion as to whether or not these are the annually awaited holiday cups…
I'm shook. The Starbucks holiday cup is GREEN. The Red Cup is GREEN.

Starbucks holiday cups are green instead of red this year, as if we haven't had enough to deal with in 2016…

There’s no doubt at all that they’re not liked. At all.

Someone needs to explain why Starbucks has green cups and not red because this is not okay with me

Yeah these green @Starbucks holiday cups are throwing off all the NYC chic aesthetics. Where the red cups at?!

Note to Starbucks: Whatever the actual holiday design is this year, perhaps it’s best to stick with red, that is, unless the backlash buzz is what you were looking for.
