In my princess era, for real. This airy white maxi dress boasts a fitted bodice and a gentle milkmaid top that amp up the ethereal energy. It's made from 100% linen, so you can feel secure your summer look is easy and breezy. The upper half of this Reformation dress is fitted with a flexible stretchy smocked material that ensures a comfy fit. The back zips up for easy on-and-off.

The Balia Linen Dress is also available in black and sizes 14-18 for $278.

Leilah Dress

Flaunt your figure this summer in this adorable fitted dress that comes in this spicy red color! Cesca Knit Dress

Polka dots feel super Parisian, so if you're looking to embrace your French girl style era, this Reformation dress is for you! Still, it hugs your body in the best ways throughout and features a darling sweetheart neckline that's decorated with lace for added femme vibes!

This pick is also shoppable in solid black in sizes 0-12 for $178.

Babette Dress

Another tell-tale sign of the cool French girl is bubble skirts. This one explodes out from a beautifully-executed drop waist that lines your midsection! While most other Reformation dresses have two traditional straps, this pick features a halter neckline which forms the sultry open back detail.

You can shop the Babette Dress in three other colorways in sizes 0-12 for $218.

Noha Dress

This mini dress is for the more casual days! The mini length is met by a playful leg slit that just feels right for summertime. The squared-off neckline is completed with non-adjustable straps while the overall material is dotted cutely in white hearts! Since this dress' silhouette is fairly no-frills, there are endless possibilites for styling it. I'd def rock it with some tall boots and a light jacket.

The Noha Dress is also shoppable in a red floral colorway in sizes 0-12, 14-16, and 22-24 for $148.

Delilah Linen Dress

It's giving sleek. It's giving luxury. It's giving power. The Delilah dress from Reformation is the perfect investment piece for dinner parties, weddings, and more! It boasts an open back, thanks to the halter neckline that hugs your bust. The v-neck of this light linen style dives deep, showing even more skin in the most chic way. The straight skirt lands right at the ankles, so you can still show off your favorite summer shoes!

This piece is also available in two other colors and sizes 0-12 for $278.

Clea Dress

Another bubble skirt sighting means you have to hop on the trend! Though this Ref dress looks like two pieces, it's actually one, and it's unbelievably easy to wear. The strapless (but still secure) neckline means no fussing with adjustable straps slipping and sliding, and the mini skirt is just the right length to cover you up. The limited color palette part of this dress makes it a contender for paring with more black and white pieces or going crazy with added color!

The Clea Dress is also shoppable in a neutral gingham pattern and sizes 0-12 for $218.

Louisa Linen Dress

Your next wedding guest dress: found! This floral frock is the ultimate piece to have hanging in your closet for formal occasions since it's cozy to wear and totally picture-worthy. The 100% linen Louisa Linen Dress features a sleek, scooped neckline that secures in the front with buttons, and in the back with a bowtie. The skirt falls around your calves, providing the opportunity to easily elevate your look with some cute heels.

This high-quality pick also comes in red or white in sizes 0-12 for $278.

Kaylia Dress

I'm a sucker for a Peter Pan collar! This Reformation mini is the epitome of cool girl style. The neckline ties in the front with a cute contrasting bow, while the puff sleeves take what would've been a very casual dress to the next level. It's crafted from a lightweight georgette fabric that keeps your look breathable all season long.

Going for a big chop can be intimidating, especially when opting for more layered haircuts after years of consistently long locks. Luckily, we rounded up the trending layered haircuts that will have you running to the salon to book your next appointment! Our favorite experts gave us the inside scoop on what haircuts are trending this season. And an added bonus? They work for all different hair textures! So don't worry if you have straight or curly hair — we've got you covered with the perfect layered haircuts, plus all the expert advice you need to get it.

Face Framing Pieces

Photo via Roman Bond/Instagram

If you're wanting to stay more risk-averse and opt for a simple, flattering cut then we have the one for you! Face framing layers are an amazing way to really help shape your face and flatter your features. Hair stylist and expert Roman Bond says, "Incorporating small layers around the face can delicately shape and enhance one's features, exuding an aura of softness and sophistication." That sounds like a dream to us!

Classic All-Around Layers

Image via Instagram/@renee.valerie

If you want to stay a little more tame with your hairstyle but still want to incorporate something new, then we suggest going with a classic-layered cut. This will keep your hair looking natural but still give it new dimension and depth.

I love classic layers, especially when they go all around with face-framing pieces that are flattering to all face shapes as well. Renee Valeriesays, "Introducing layers to longer hair is an effortless and subtle method to boost volume, create movement, and infuse a touch of softness to the style."

Short, Textured Cut

Photo via Roman Bond/Instagram

This is a look that will allow you to try out a shorter style without being too risky! This flattering cut works on so many hair types because it allows straight hair to gain some volume and textured hair to sit at a nice length with some dimension.

Roman Bondsays, "Individuals with thick, porous hair who prioritize manageability and styling versatility may benefit from shorter, textured layers. These layers are adept at distributing volume and facilitating styling efforts, particularly for those who can’t imagine their lives without blow-dryer or Airwraps."

This cut is perfect if you want to test out a shorter, more layered length without going too far! I love the mid-length for summer as well.

Longer Layered Haircuts

Image via Roman Bond/Instagram

Long layers is another insanely perfect hairstyle we love to see! We adore this style because, again, this one is perfect for all hair textures. You can style it like above with textured, long hair and maybe even adding some mild highlights to it for summer. Or you can style it with a blowout for a vintage-inspired supermodel look.

Hair expert Roman Bond adds, "Layered haircuts are also exceptionally suited for curly hair. Understanding the unique structure and styling needs of curls is paramount. When cutting curly hair, I opt to work with it in its natural, dry state, foregoing straightening methods. This approach allows for a more accurate assessment of the hairs natural tendencies, enabling me to strategically enhance volume, texture, and shape according to the client's preferences and lifestyle." This haircut is sure to be a summer go-to for so many!

Bardot Bangs

Photo via Vladimir Flores/Pexels

Who could forget iconic Bardot bangs? Named after the famous actress who made messy, slept-in bangs iconic, this haircut is everything — especially with this modern, updated cut. It's slightly over-grown side-swept bangs that really help to frame your face and accentuate your features. It's another great look to give you some dimension without trying anything too risky.

Hair expert Renee Valeriesays, "Bardot bangs infuse a cool vibe into any hairstyle. I love how they complement all hair textures seamlessly and quickly enhance a hairstyle's overall look with minimal time to create." Running to make an appointment for this cut ASAP!

I have such a love/hate relationship with haircuts. While I love the feeling of a fresh look as much as the next girl, I hate having to spend $100+ for a simple cut and blow dry session. During my recent trim, I talked with my hairdresser, Jack Rehak of Jack’s Hair Design in Hinsdale, Illinois, about ways to keep a haircut looking new and best practices for keeping hair healthy. Here's what he had to say!

Here's How Often You Should Cut Your Hair, According To Professionals

I’ll admit it — it had been eight months since my last haircut. My hair had lost its shape, my layers were nowhere to be found, and my ends were begging for mercy. Life got busy over the last few months and I was neglecting my haircare like never before.

My hairdresser could immediately see that I was beyond due for a cut and said I needed to get more taken off than I was hoping. I was definitely disappointed — I'd been working on growing out my hair for a while now, and it just felt like my hard work had completely gone to waste. He explained that getting consistent haircuts is the key to growing out healthy and strong hair, rather than letting it grow and grow until it eventually breaks. So let's dig into the top three things you can do to avoid this scenario!

1. Just Get The Dang Haircut

Also avoiding a haircut like I was? You might want to schedule one at your nearest salon. Like my stylist said, when you wait too long between trims like I did, you risk your hair becoming heavy, dull, and lifeless. When the hair is dry or even dead, it’s nearly impossible for it to hold a curl or style, essentially collapsing on you and taking on more and more heat damage all the while. I know the pain of spending time on a blowout only for it to fall minutes later — it’s the worst.

According to Jack, getting a haircut every 10-12 weeks is the best time frame or your ends will pay the price. Between blow-drying, curling, straightening, sun, and weather, our ends get dry and start to break without the proper care. Getting consistent haircuts allows hair to bounce back, shine, and perform the way we want in a healthy way.

2. Leave-In Conditioners Are Your Friend

His top piece of advice to keep your hair looking and feeling hydrated between trims? Invest in conditioning treatments. Jack swears by the Olaplex conditioning system, specifically the No 3 Hair Perfector. Made with patented OLAPLEX Bond Building Technology™, this conditioning treatment repairs and prevents damage in as little as three minutes. No 3 promises to reduce breakage and visibly strengthen hair, so it’s the perfect assistance to keep ends fresh between cuts. Another conditioning treatments I’ve used and loved for years is the Moroccanoil Intense Hydrating Mask, which is designed to restore moisture, elasticity, and shine to dry hair.

3. Switch Up Your Shampoos

Switching shampoos frequently is a pretty hot tip that I honestly hadn't thought of. Our hair gets used to the same products and grows tired of them, resulting in lackluster locks. Jack’s advice is to switch brands after finishing every bottle of shampoo to bring life back to your hair. Have two brands that you’re loyal to? Even switching back and forth between them after every bottle should make a big difference in your hair. I’m a huge fan of the R+Co Dallas Biotin Thickening Shampoo, which makes my hair look thick and full, as well as the Moroccanoil Hydrating Shampoo, which is so hydrating and gives so much shine.

In the end, navigating your back-and-forth relationship with haircuts often feels like a rollercoaster ride between wanting that fresh look and cringing at the receipt. Luckily, by using conditioning treatments and switching up your products,, you can keep your locks healthy, shiny, and full of life between trims. But take a newly learned lesson out of my book: don't let your ends pay the price for procrastination and just book the haircut.
