These Are the 10 Memorial Day Sales You (and Your Home) Won’t Wanna Miss

Barbecues, cocktails, and pool parties are great and all, but for the hard-core home shopper, Memorial Day weekend is all about one thing: THE SALES. Most major decor brands will be offering some sort of sweet discount this weekend. So if you have Monday off, just take it as a sign from the universe that you should spend it shoppin’ your heart out for new patio furniture, a fresh mattress, or a set of boho-chic throw pillows. Scroll on for 10 can’t-miss Memorial Day moolah-saving sales.

Ready-to-wear fashion brand RHODE and global design company West Elm have collaborated for a fashionably floral homewares collection that’s simply *perfect* for the summer season. When warm weather calls us outside for one-too-many-glasses-of-wine dinner parties, this latest 40-piece collab’s covered-in-blooms dinner plates and funky serving tray come into play, making for a stylish table spread. Decorative linens from the likes of pillowcases and tea towels join the collection by striking a balance between polished and playful.

The two retailers joined forces to elevate your spaces, inside and out. You can shop the pieces, ranging from $39-330, exclusively at westelm.com beginning today. Find our favorite picks for summertime entertainment and leisure below!

Wiggle Round Pillows ($39)

Each of these rounded pillows complements the other in *such* a satisfying way. The primary color palette keeps things wondrously juvenile, which strongly correlates with our everlasting dopamine decor dreams.

“This collection is full of inspiration from our travels and intended to mix and match unabashedly," said RHODE Creative Director and Co-founder, Purna Khatau. "It was such an incredible process to collaborate with West Elm and bring our signature prints to life with their team."

Mushroom Reversible Sham ($50)

This pillow gracefully works texture into your bedroom or living room spaces. The earthy hues bring the summer season inside, highlighting delicate floral imagery.

Lacquer Tray ($50)

We're so ready to serve our girls only the bestsummer cocktails via this groovy serving tray. The piece really embraces fun with waves and bright blue.

Begonia Pillow Cover ($49)

Each color on this throw pillow balances out the other with harmony. The ruffle edging adds visual interest to a piece that might have otherwise been dangerously simple.

Wiggle Rope Bath Mat ($45)

Your bathroom is incomplete until you've laid out an eye-catching bathmat. This round one from the RHODE + West Elm collab marries the rest of the collection with ease, utilizing the wavy green line detail. It's playful in shape, but the color palette keeps this accessory elevated.

Begonia Napkin Sets ($40 for set of 4)

Mix and match your kitchen linens by beginning with this combo. The wavy green hem is the perfect pair for the more simple tea towel, which gets a barely-there yellow stitch finishing.

Echoing the sentiment, “In working with West Elm, we truly went back to our origins," RHODE Co-founder Phoebe Vickers said. "We included a few of our signature prints — bringing the DNA of RHODE to a new medium, which has been incredibly exciting."

Batik Pillow Cover ($59)

This skinny accent pillow is sure to find a home on your lush bedspread or sofa. The patterned fabric has a hand-drawn feel that amps up your home's personality.

Salad Plate ($52 for set of 4)

This patterned plate will undoubtedly complement your best summer appetizer recipe – the organic shape, alongside ornamental vine and flower decals, gives this piece a touch of nature – super suitable for a garden party!

Mushroom Pillow Cover ($49)

Everyone knows our favorite Kirsten Dunst from her roles in Spider-man, Bring It On, and Marie Antoinette. But did you know that she's also been married to another actor for almost a decade? Her husband is actually also an actor who has been featured in some of our favorite movies as well — Jesse Plemons! He's best known for his work on Friday Night Lights, Breaking Bad,Killers of the Flower Moon, and Love & Death. Talk about a talented, successful duo! This pair has been together for almost a decade and we are simply obsessed with them. Keep reading for all the details on how they got together, fell in love, and what they're up to now.

How long have Jesse Plemons and Kirsten Dunst been married?

Image via Monica Schipper/Getty Images

After six years together, People confirmed in July 2022 that Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons got married. The two actors are still very much in love, and recently showed up to the April 2 premiere of their spring movie Civil War in Los Angeles. Kirsten looked both chic and edgy in a black dress with contrasting fabric and tulle trim, while Jesse wore a gray suit and white shirt. Both choices totally stand out against the lime green detail of the backdrop!

Who is Jesse Plemons?

Jesse Plemons is a 35 year old, American actor best known for his work on Friday Night Lights as Landry Clarke where he got his first big break in the industry. He has also been in films like Killers of the Flower Moon, Power of the Dog, and TV shows like Breaking Bad and Fargo. He's originally from Texas, which is where he also attended school and worked before he switched careers to acting.

For his work as an actor, he has been nominated for a BAFTA and even an Academy award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. He's also received a Primetime Emmy Award and a second Emmy nomination.

Where did Kirsten Dunst meet her husband Jesse Plemons?

Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons met on the set of Fargo where the two co-starred. And although they had an instant connection, they didn't start actually dating until after filming wrapped. So they met in 2015, started dating in 2016, got engaged in 2017, and were pregnant by 2018.

Dunst said in an interview with theLA Times, "We fell in love creatively first. He was like a creative soul mate to me and the way we both work. On Fargo I knew after two weeks. I didn’t remember saying this, but one of my best friends told me that I said to her that 'I will know this man for the rest of my life. I just know it.'" How sweet is that?! We're just obsessed with this sweet couple.

Have Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons been in any movies or TV shows together?

Like we mentioned before, the pair met while working together and fell in love with their respective creative and working styles so they are familiar with it. After filming and falling in love on Fargo, the pair went on to work with each other again in The Power of the Dog, for which they both received Oscar nominations! What a successful team they make! Kirsten said in an interview with the LA Times, "We love working together. So, it’s really, really easy to work with each other. We’re very honest. We’re very down to try anything. No one judges anybody. There’s no ego. It’s just, how do we make this the most alive together and the most real?" It makes sense that since they fell in love working together that it just comes naturally for the pair!

Have Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons won any Oscars?

The pair have been nominated for many awards, but both of them were actually nominated for an Oscar for the first time together! They found out they were both nominated together via a phone call that Kirsten later recounted to Jesse. She recalls the conversation in an interview with Variety by saying, "Then I called Jesse, and I was the first person to tell him, and he was a little shell shocked. I mean, it’s just so crazy to be a couple and have our first nominations together. It’s like a storybook. You know what I mean? It’s so weird. It’s amazing." However, unfortunately the two haven't won any Academy Awards...yet!

In an interview with VogueDunst says, "My husband and I were nominated together. Honestly, I was more excited that he got nominated than me. And then to do that together, who gets that?" It's so sweet that they're so incredible supportive of each other and their successes.

Do Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons have children?

The pair have two children together, born in 2018 and 2022. Their first son is named Ennism and the second is named James! They got pregnant shortly after being engaged, and their sons are just the absolute cutest. On the name Ennis, Jesse told Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live in 2019, "It’s like an old cowboy name. We found it online. You know, on those baby websites where you just keep scrolling. We were like, ‘We like that. It sounds cool.’”

Today, they are still as in love as ever raising their 2 sweet kiddos. In an interview with Voguethis April Dunst said, "My son has been watching the OG Spiderman sometimes. He doesn't care that I'm in it." Safe to say, they don't know their mom is an absolute icon!

We love this sweet couple and can't wait to see what they get up to next!

Graduations are in full swing, you're breaking out your fun pool floats and everyone is grilling up their signature burgers — that's right, summer is officially upon us. Every year, May 28 marks National Burger Day, a holiday that most people are pretty happy exists. Coincidentally (or not), it coincides with Memorial Day weekend, meaning you have the perfect excuse to grill up all of your favorite summer burger recipes (and favorite side dish finger foods).

If you're stuck in a burger rut, don't worry — we have 24 mouthwatering burgers you'll love, whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or as carnivorous as they come. Grab some Rosemary Watermelonade and settle in, because the following recipes will give you serious burger FOMO.

1. Classic Bacon and Cheese Burger: Sometimes, simplicity is key. Fancy cheese and gourmet toppings have a time and a place, but a classic bacon cheeseburger never goes out of style. (via Simply Delicious Food)

2. Southern BBQ Pork Burgers: Why choose between having pulled pork or a burger when you can just have both? Pile high with creamy slaw and extra BBQ sauce for a one-stop meal. (via Spicy Southern Kitchen)

3. Beef Burgers With Mushrooms and Chipotle Mayo: This health-conscious burger combines lean ground beef with quinoa and mushrooms, so you're getting the benefits of both animal and plant protein. Show off your work of art by serving on homemade buns. (via Bibby's Kitchen)

4. Black Bean Burgers: These may look like regular beef burgers, but they're actually full of beans and veggies. The addition of ketchup and paprika give them that flavor you would find in a typical burger, but without any meat. (via Elemental Custard)

5. BBQ Bacon Western Burgers: There's no reason onion rings should be relegated to a measly side dish. Top your thick Angus burger with a few rings for a texture and flavor that's almost too good to be true. (via Tastes Lovely)

6. Caramelized Onion Arugula Burger: Garlic and herbs flavor this burger from the inside out, while the caramelized onions bring a slow-cooked sweetness to the sandwich. Finish it off with peppery arugula and the contrast of flavors will blow your mind. (via Munchkin Time)

7. Coffee Rubbed Burgers With Dr. Pepper BBQ Sauce: Coffee on our burger? Yes, please! With thick-cut peppered bacon and a flavorful Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce, this burger is NOT for the faint of heart. (via The Chunky Chef)

8. Filthy Burger (Beef, Barbecue Pulled Pork and Bacon Burgers): You're probably used to seeing bacon or pulled pork on top of a burger, but what about mixed into the ground beef? While the burger is cooking, the bacon and pulled pork are infusing the whole patty with their flavor, creating a taste experience like no other. (via Foodie With Family)

9. Greek Burgers: Fresh toppings like cucumber, tomato and feta allow for the pure flavor of this burger to really shine. Creamy tzatziki would be a great topping for these Greek-inspired patties. (via The Ruby Kitchen)

10. BBQ Havarti Burgers With Sweet Potato Curly Fries: Grab a bib, because this burger doesn't care if it ruins your favorite summer dress. Crispy sweet potato fries are definitely the perfect topping for this over-the-top masterpiece of a sandwich. (via How Sweet Eats)

11. Grilled Pineapple Hawaiian Burgers: Grilling your fruit intensifies the sweetness, giving it a caramelized char-grilled flavor that goes perfectly on top of a burger. Tangy Swiss cheese is a nice balance to the richness of the meat, but you could also use something like a white cheddar if you prefer. (via Joanie Simon)

12. Jalapeño Turkey Burgers With Grilled Corn Cotija Salsa and Avocado: Take your burgers south of the border with this spicy recipe. Using ground turkey lightens up the meal, but doesn't skimp on the flavor. (via Spices in My DNA)

13. Ranch Burgers With Secret Sauce: Craving that classic burger taste with a certain “special sauce"? No need to hop in the car to hit up the drive-thru — this one will do the trick and then some. (via Lil' Luna)

14. Red Wine Cheeseburgers: Nothing will soothe your soul more than a juicy burger soaked in a red wine reduction. SLAY. Caramelized onions complete the dream, but if you really want to make it a meal to remember… add bacon. (via Jennifer Meyering)

15. Salsa Chicken Burgers With Cilantro-Avocado Sauce: Ground chicken is a great blank canvas to build your burger around. Since it doesn't have a distinct flavor, you can really play with fun ingredients that pack a serious punch, like salsa and guacamole. (via Wholefully)

16. Salmon Burgers With Pickled Onion and Lemon Garlic Mayo: If fish is more your speed, you can't go wrong with a salmon burger. Lemon and pickled onion both add a tart freshness that pairs perfectly with this bright sandwich. (via Southern Boy Dishes)

17. Spicy Chickpea Veggie Burgers With Jalapeño and Zucchini: These burgers may be made entirely of veggies and beans, but they're a winner for meat eaters and vegetarians alike. Topped with a honey-lime slaw and Sriracha mayo, the flavors here are finger-licking good. (via Peas and Crayons)

18. Cheeseburgers With Stout-Glazed Bacon, Crispy Onions and Sriracha Aioli: You might call this burger high maintenance — a diva, if you will. But sometimes a diva is just what we all need. These would be great served to company with a stout on the side. (via Yes to Yolks)

19. Surf 'N' Turf Sliders: Date night surf 'n' turf doesn't have to mean expensive filet and lobster tail. A good quality beef burger, fried jumbo shrimp and roasted asparagus are all you need for a special and delicious meal. Genius. (via The Candid Appetite)

20. Super Juicy Teriyaki Burger: These thick six-ounce burgers are so juicy and flavorful, you won't believe how easy they are to make. Brie or blue cheese works best with the teriyaki sauce, but feel free to sub in whatever you prefer. (via Hapa Nom Nom)

21. Vegan Quinoa Chickpea Burgers

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Ancient Harvest Harmony Organic Quinoa
  • 1 cup vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 red onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 cup mushrooms, diced
  • ½ cup carrot, diced
  • 1 15-ounce can chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1 flax egg (1 ½ tablespoons ground flax seeds + 3 tablespoons water, set aside for 5 minutes)
  • 1 tablespoon oregano
  • 1 tablespoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons guar gum (optional, creates a sturdier patty)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste
  • Burger toppings: tomato slices, avocado, lettuce

Instructions

  1. Cook the quinoa according to package instructions, cooking in vegetable broth instead of water.
  2. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat and sauté onions until translucent, about 3 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Stir in red bell pepper, celery, mushrooms, and carrots and cook for another 5 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, mash the chickpeas and stir together with quinoa, flax egg and cooked veggies. Add spices, mustard, guar gum, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes, stirring to combine.
  4. Set a pan with olive oil over medium-high heat and form 4 patties with the quinoa vegetable mixture. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, until golden.
  5. Assemble burgers and enjoy!

22. Lentil Walnut Burgers: Lentils are a great option for vegan burgers. The resulting texture is similar to that of ground meat, and they hold together well while cooking. Whip up a quick avocado ranch to drizzle on top and chow down! (via Vegan Richa)

23. Whiskey Beef Sliders With Caramelized Onions, Bacon and Homemade Buns: Slider buns are pretty easy to find these days, but if you want a truly bite-sized burger, you may want to make them yourself. The good news is homemade buns are easier to make than you would think and are SO worth the effort, especially if you're serving them at a dinner party, which these burgers are made for. (via Cooks With Cocktails)

24. Asian Turkey Burgers With Kimchi: The star of this recipe is definitely the crunchy homemade kimchi gracing the top. Each ingredient is perfectly coordinated to enhance the flavors without competing with one another. If you're a fan of Asian cuisine, this is your burger. (via The Gourmet RD)

As you're gearing up for summer, get ready to break out the grill for National Burger Day. These mouthwatering burger recipes are the perfect addition to your Memorial Day weekend festivities! With vegan and meat-lovers burgers, there's something for everyone.

We are now two for two on expecting Taylor Swift to announce Reputation (Taylor's Version) during an acceptance speech and getting an album announcement instead. After showing up to the 2022 VMAs in a "Look What You Made Me Do"-inspired outfit and announcing Midnights, Taylor Swift wore a black and white ensemble on the 2024 Grammys red carpet before telling the world her new album The Tortured Poets Department is coming this spring!

And while accepting the 2024 iHeart Radio Music Award for Artist of the Year, Taylor also promises the rest of 2024 will be just as exciting as 2023. "We have so many exciting things ahead of us," the 1989 (Taylor's Version)singer says after thanking iHeart and the fans. "Most importantly, I have a brand new album called The Tortured Poets Department, which comes out on April 19. I cannot wait to share it with you...I am so blown away and so thankful and I just can't wait to keep having fun with you guys because we have a lot of exciting things coming up. Thank you so much."

Here's everything we know about the new Taylor Swift album. (Here's everything you need to know about Taylor Swift (Taylor's Version) too ;)).

What is Taylor Swift's The Tortured Poets Department?

Image via Taylor Swift/Instagram

Taylor Swift's new album (which is also referred to as TS11) is called The Tortured Poets Department. Taylor Swift announced the album while accepting the award for Best Pop Album at the 2024 Grammys. While we don't know the exact vibe of the album, over the last year, we've gotten quite a few clues about what we can expect! Just like "Daylight" at the end of Lover sets up Midnights, I think "Dear Reader" sets up The Tortured Poets Department.

Taylor's official announcement features beautiful language that evokes the same emotion "The Lakes" does, which makes me believe TTPD will be similar to Folklore and Evermore (maybe it'll even serve as the third sister album Swifties thought we'd get in 2021?). Some fans are also convinced TTPD connects to Reputation, and TBH, I'm hopping on this train!

"I think the two albums are sisters albums, but in like an opposite way," one Reddit user says. "Reputation is all black, this one is going to be all white and softly coded."

"Reputation is presented as a dark album but is truly a love album," another user comments. "This one is presented as soft and white but I bet the lyrics will be devastating."

I'm expecting TS11 to have the same lyrical prowess as songs like "Would've, Should've, Could've," The National's "The Alcott" (on which Taylor's a featured artist), and "You're Losing Me." Taylor is all about looking past appearances and telling a complex story, and The Tortured Poets Department will be no different. Just like Reputation is an edgy, glittery, emotionally-charged version of the beginning of her relationship with ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn, I totally agree that TTPD could look grounded, airbrushed, and dreamy from the outside, but the lyrics will be SAD.

There's also been some discussion that TS11 could be another pop album that's even more nuanced than Midnights. Well, during her Eras Tour show in Sydney, Australia she played yet another round of suspicious surprise songs. While sitting at the piano, Taylor Swift takes her earpiece out and calls attention to the keyboard. "Do you hear that?" she says (via TikTok). "My damn keyboard's playing a synth sound." She then does what she almost always does when dropping an Easter egg: she smirks.

"That sound is how the album starts, mark my words," one comment reads. Another says, "That smirk tells me everything I need to know."

When is The Tortured Poets Department release date?

Image via Neilson Barnard/Getty Images for The Recording Academy

The Tortured Poets Department is dropping April 19, 2024. But on February 16, an artist by the name of Nils Sjöberg posted a song titled "The Tortured Poets Department." You might be wondering, "Why is this noteworthy? Who's Nils?" Nils Sjöberg is the pseudonym Taylor Swift has been using for over 10 years! With the fake name, she's written hits like "This Is What You Came For" by Rihanna, so when the title track of TS11 popped up on Spotify, it didn't take long for Swifties to notice.

The singer's voice sounds like it could be an auto-tuned version of Taylor's, but admittedly, it could also be AI. With the recent advancements in audio AI, some tracks from The Tortured Poets Department have supposedly leaked online, but we'll have to wait until April 19th to hear what the album *actually* sounds like. Either way, Nils' song is a fun one to listen to!

At the Eras Tour shows in Tokyo, Taylor Swift explained when she started working on TTPD. “I’ve been working on Tortured Poets since right after I turned in Midnights,” she said onstage. “So, you turn in an album months in advance…and I’ve been working on it for about two years. I kept working on it throughout the U.S. tour and when it was perfect, in my opinion, when it was good enough for you, I finished it.”

"Soon you'll get to hear it, soon we'll get to experience it together," she continued. "I'm over the moon about the fact that you guys care about my music...Everyone’s like, ‘Why do you make so many albums?’ And I’m like, ‘Man, because I love it! I love it so much! I’m having fun, leave me alone.'”

The brand new album follows Speak Now (Taylor's Version) and 1989 (Taylor's Version). When Midnights was announced after Fearless (Taylor's Version) and Red (Taylor's Version), I wondered whether she'd have a two rerecordings, one new album pattern and it looks like that's what we're getting!

How do I presave The Tortured Poets Department?

Image via Taylor Swift's official store/UMG

Before The Tortured Poets Department's release on at midnight on April 19 (we're less than a month away!), go ahead and pre-save it. It'll make streaming the album a little bit easier because when you pre-save, the album will pop up for you as soon as it drops! Go to Taylor Swift's official website and click on the "Pre-add/Pre-save" button. It'll take you to a new page where you can save it on Spotify or Apple Music (depending on which service you use), and you can also pre-order at stores like Target!

How many songs will be on The Tortured Poets Department?

Image via Taylor Swift/Instagram

Taylor Swift dropped The Tortured Poets Department song list February 5, and we already have theories about what each track could reference. IMO, "I Can Do It With A Broken Heart" is totally referencing Taylor Swift's performances of "Lover" following her split from Joe Alwyn (you can see her crying during the set), while there's a good chance "Florida!!!" is referencing her first Tampa concert, which was the first show she performed after the breakup became public knowledge. Taylor Swift's dad Scott Swift recently told fans he's most excited for Swifties to hear the title track and "Florida!!!" Here's the full tracklist for TS11:

  1. Fortnight (feat. Post Malone)
  2. The Tortured Poets Department
  3. My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys
  4. Down Bad
  5. So Long, London
  6. But Daddy I Love Him
  7. Fresh Out the Slammer
  8. Florida!!! (feat. Florence + The Machine)
  9. Guilty as Sin?
  10. Who's Afraid of Little Old Me?
  11. I Can Fix Him (No Really I Can)
  12. loml
  13. I Can Do It With A Broken Heart
  14. The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived
  15. The Alchemy
  16. Clara Bow
  17. Bonus Track: The Manuscript
  18. Bonus Track: The Bolter
  19. Bonus Track: The Albatross
  20. Bonus Track: The Black Dog

Will The Tortured Poets Department be explicit?

Image via Taylor Swift/Instagram

There are 7 explicit songs on The Tortured Poets Department: "The Tortured Poets Department," "Down Bad," "But Daddy I Love Him," "Florida!!! (feat. Florence + The Machine)," "loml," "I Can Do It With A Broken Heart," and "The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived."

What is The Albatross about?

Image via Taylor Swift/Instagram

During one of her Eras Tour shows in Sydney, Australia, Taylor Swift announced a new version of The Tortured Poets Department featuring exclusive bonus track "The Albatross." This new album already has some crazy track titles — all with pretty noteworthy meanings.

According to Collins Dictionary, if you call someone an Albatross, "they cause you great problems from which you cannot escape, or they prevent you from doing what you want to do," while a Bolter could refer to someone bolting out of a relationship (or bolting from a restaurant to a car like in this viral clip 🤨).

Meanwhile "The Alchemy" refers to the continual process of trying to turn something into gold — remember how Taylor Swift spent 6 years saying her relationship with Joe Alwyn was golden? Buckle up Swifties, TS11 is going to be a wild ride.

What does loml mean?

Image via Taylor Swift/Instagram

At first glance, the twelfth song on The Tortured Poets Department, "loml," means "love of my life." Some fans were wondering if the song was a nod to Harry Styles since his Harry's House finale track is "Love of My Life" (the album also features a track named "Daylight" which is another funny connection to Taylor Swift). But Bonnie & Emily from ChatsAndReacts have got me thinking about the track in a whole new way.

Emily says that while Taylor might sing about the love of her life at the beginning of the song, she also has the potential to switch it up each verse. "Lie of my life" and "loss of my life" are HEART WRENCHING, and totally something Taylor would write.

How can I buy The Tortured Poets Department?

Image via Taylor Swift store

You can pre-order a bunch of different versions of The Tortured Poets Department on Taylor Swift's website right now, includingThe Tortured Poets Department CD + Bonus Track "The Manuscript", The Tortured Poets Department CD + Bonus Track "The Manuscript" andThe Tortured Poets Department Cassette + Bonus Track "The Manuscript".

What is a tortured poets department?

Image via Taylor Swift/Instagram

Taylor Swift has spent years talking about her anxiety, her sleepless nights, and her emotions. "My muses, acquired like bruises / My talismans and charms / The tick, tick, tick of love bombs / My veins of pitch black ink," she writes in her official Instagram post. "All's fair in love and poetry." My guess is that The Tortured Poets Department features a bunch of artists who all feel very deeply and have a similar ethereal, larger-than-life approach to their music.

As far as the name, it looks like The Tortured Poets Department could be referencing her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn's group chat name — "The Tortured Man Club" with Paul Mescal (who starred in Normal People while Joe starred Conversations With Friends. Both series are based on Sally Rooney books).

Will The Tortured Poets Department have any featured artists?

Image via Frazer Harrison/Getty Images

Yes, The Tortured Poets Department will feature Florence + The Machine on the song "Florida!!!" and Post Malone on the song "Fortnight." And after Taylor Swift teased a variety of collaborations by posting handwritten lyrics from artists like Harry Styles and Lorde, Swifties are wondering if The Tortured Poets Department will be the "collab album" we never got.

Another clue that leads me to believe this is true is the fact that the title of this album is so much longer than her other titles — and she refers to herself as "Chairman" of the department. Who are all the constituents?! Are they all the same artists who left Scooter Braun's management last year? Only time will tell, because as far as I'm concerned, surprises aren't out of the question until the TS11 era is over!👀

What is the theory of Taylor Swift's double album?

Image via Matt Winkelmeyer/Getty Images

Throughout her stay in Sydney, Australia for the Eras Tour, Taylor Swift has been dropping lots — and I mean lots — of twos. @v_swiftie_ points out that in addition to holding up the number two while announcing The Tortured Poets Department, she's been playing more surprise song mashups than normal, and Taylor Nation has been posting Instagram stories featuring the number 2 instead of the number 13. Suspicious, Tay, very suspicious.
