We took travel inspiration to dream up fresh and delicious grilled recipes in this Taste to Escape series. First up: our Hawaiian Grilled Chicken Sandwich featuring Just Bare® Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast Fillets. Capturing a mix of sweet and savory flavors, this nod to the famous “Ono” burger from Hawaii is served up teriyaki style with mushroom, avocado, grilled pineapple and microgreens on a toasted King’s Hawaiian bun. This grilled chicken sandwich will wow your BBQ guests *and* the kiddos.

We use Just Bare® Chicken because they don’t use antibiotics (ever), added hormones or steroids, or added preservatives – just protein that’s the star of all your summer grilling recipes. Ready to dig into this juicy, delicious, and full of flavor sandwich?

Hawaiian Grilled Chicken Sandwiches With Pineapple featuring Just Bare® Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast Fillets

Serve 4

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons mirin or rice wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
  • 1 clove fresh minced garlic
  • 2 pkgs Just Bare® Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast Fillets, 4 breasts total
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 4 (½‑inch-thick) pineapple rings
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • ¼ cup Japanese-style mayonnaise Kewpie, or regular mayonnaise
  • 4 King’s Hawaiian hamburger buns
  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 pkg micro greens, alfalfa sprouts, or lettuce leaf

Directions:

1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, water, sugar, mirin, ginger and garlic. Pour half of the mixture into a shallow dish. Rinse chicken breasts and add to the dish, turning to completely coat the chicken. Cover dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for an hour or up to overnight.

2. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the remaining marinade and cornstarch until thickened, about 5 minutes.

3. Turn gas grill to high, cover, and heat grill until hot, about 15 minutes. Turn all burners to medium. Clean and oil cooking grate.

4. Place pineapple rings on grill and cook (covered if using gas) until softened and lightly charred, 3 to 4 minutes per side. Transfer pineapple to platter and tent with aluminum foil.

5. Meanwhile, place chicken breasts on grill and cook until well browned, 4 to 6 minutes. Flip and brush extra marinade from the dish, and continue to cook until well browned on second side and chicken registers 160 degrees, 5 to 7 minutes. Transfer grilled chicken to platter, and rest for 5 minutes.

6. While chicken is resting, spread both sides of the hamburger buns with mayonnaise, and grill for 1-2 minutes until toasted.

7. To assemble sandwiches, layer chicken breast, cheese, teriyaki sauce, pineapple rings, avocado & micro greens.

Mushroom Frittata

SERVES 6 TO 8

  • 1 pound (455 g) fresh mushrooms, such as shiitake, oysters, maitake, or cremini
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 fresh oregano sprigs, leaves only
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) extra-virgin olive oil
  • 12 large egg
  • 1¼ cups (125 g) finely grated pecorino cheese
  • ¼ teaspoon Himalayan pink salt
  • Finely grated zest and juice of ½ lemon, preferably organic
  • Fragrant fresh herbs, such as parsley, mint, and oregano, for garnish

My grandmother, an American-born Puglian, cooked in the manner of cucina povera, which she learned from her mother. This included a ton of vegetables, herbs, spicy dried chiles, and eggs. Frittatas made their way to our table for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, sometimes herby one with oregano and mint, or a pile of leftover pasta, other times filled with slow-cooked, delightfully mushy broccoli rabe, and often a mushroom frittata, usually made with cremini. Like a combination of shiitake and maitake. The flavor is extraordinary—rich, earthy, and a little meaty without any heaviness. The key to this recipe, as with many Puglian dishes, is a nice amount of flavorful olive oil and some sharp, salty pecorino.

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. If using cremini or shiitake mushrooms, thinly slice with a mandoline or sharp knife. If using maitake or oyster, gently tear into small pieces.
  3. In a 10-inch (25 cm) nonstick ovenproof lidded skillet, melt the butter over medium-low heat.When it starts to foam, add the mushrooms and oregano leaves and cook until soft and any liquid has been released, 3 to 5 minutes. Stir in the oil.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, 1 cup (100 g) of the pecorino, and the salt.
  5. Add the egg mixture to the pan and sprinkle the top with the remaining ¼ cup (25 g) cheese,the lemon zest, and lemon juice.
  6. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and cook until the bottom starts to brown, 5 to 10minutes. (Check the eggs by lifting the bottom with a spatula.) Once the bottom starts to brown, transfer the pan to the oven, uncovered.
  7. Bake for 5 minutes, then check to see if the top is puffing up. Cook a few minutes longer if not. The frittata is done when it starts to brown around the edges and a little bit on the top.Look for the oil bubbling up around the sides. This is totally normal. Once you remove the frittata from the oven to cool, the oil will get absorbed into the eggs, making it yummy and so delicious.
  8. Serve the frittata warm or at room temperature, garnished with fresh herbs.

Since then, she’s walked countless runways for designers like Tom Ford, Jean Paul Gaultier, Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Miu Miu, and many more. She’s been featured numerous times on US-based and international magazine covers and continues to represent Maybelline as a spokesmodel. Gigi is Bella Hadid’s sister, who is also an esteemed model. Gigi also has her own fashion line called Guest in Residence, which launched in 2022.

Gigi has most notably dated Cody Simpson, Joe Jonas, and Zayn Malik. She began dating Zayn in 2015, and the couple were on-again, off-again for quite some time until they announced their pregnancy with daughter Khai in April 2020. They officially split after the relationship between Zayn and Gigi’s mother, Yolanda, turned tense and came to a head. TMZ had claimed Zayn had grown angry with her and things had gotten out of hand. Zayn then entered a no-contest plea to multiple charges of harassment against Yolanda.

Still, Zayn and Gigi are set on co-parenting Khai the best they can.

Bradley Cooper is an award-winning American actor, producer, screenwriter, and director from Pennsylvania. He is 49 years old. Bradley made his acting debut in 1999 with a guest role in Sex and the City, and has since starred in films like The Hangover, The Place Beyond the Pines, Silver Linings Playbook, A Star is Born, and Maestro.

Bradley has won one BAFTA, one SAG Award, and two Grammys for his work in the film industry.

Bradley was briefly married to actress Jennifer Esposito in 2006 before they divorced in 2007. He’s most notably dated Renée Zellweger, Zoe Saldaña, and Suki Waterhouse. Bradley also dated Russian model Irina Shayk from 2015 to 2019, and they share a daughter, Lea de Seine (born 2017), together.

The two were spotted together again the following weekend on October 8 – they were traveling back to NYC via Jeep after what seemed like a private weekend getaway (thatreportedly took place at Taylor Swift’s mansion in Rhode Island).

Bradley’s ex-wife, Irina Shayk, also popped by the truck at a separate time, with their 6 year-old daughter, Lea de Seine, in tow. Bradley and Irina separated in June 2019.

According to a source that spoke with Entertainment Tonight, there was zero hostility coming from Gigi and Bradley’s respective exes – Zayn Malik and Irina Shayk – regarding their budding relationship.

"Gigi, Bradley, Irina, and Zayn are all in a place where they want each person to be happy and healthy,” the source said, “Zayn's priority is to have a good co-parenting relationship with Gigi."

According to Daily Mail, the pair was spotted in good spirits, laughing and kissing all evening long.

The pair was also spotted attending the March 23 performance of Broadway's Sweeney Todd in NYC, E Newsreports. Before leaving hand-in-hand, they snapped a pic with cast member Joanna Carpenter, which she posted on her Instagram story.

Although Gigi and Bradley have yet to comment on their relationship, one source told People that the pair is just “having fun” with it, but going strong because of their shared love and dedication to parenting.
