‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ Recap: Worst Trimester

This week’s Keeping Up With the Kardashians is about as feminist as it gets on this or any show. Sit back and crank your thoughtfulness and empathy up to 11 as the family that does everything together shares the joy and pain of pregnancy, motherhood, and identities that evolve with dye jobs. It’s a bewildering journey through womanhood, but the Kardashians are inspiring enough to let us know that it is all worth it.

Khloé intends to give birth in Cleveland and lets Kim know that she has her doctor on call to fly to Cleveland when she’s ready. Kim, having given birth twice, gets real with her little sister, telling her that she can’t quite control every aspect of her pregnancy and delivery and needs to be realistic. She also lets Khloé know that she can eat her placenta with grape flavoring but doesn’t let us know what other flavor options are available. I’m holding out for pamplemousse or pretty much anything on the La Croix spectrum.

Khloé figures out pretty quickly that very little in this pregnancy will be in her control. She doesn’t produce enough progesterone and needs to take supplements in order to have a successful pregnancy. Kim has also been in this position and it is a difficult and painful situation. Khloé and Kim speak frankly and graphically about the effect this has on their bodies and, just like that, this show slyly morphs into an incredible PSA on women’s health. Khloé sharing her experience about the tumultuous nature of her first trimester and the possibility of miscarriage goes a long way for pregnancy education. You’re an inspiration, Khloprah!

The complications continue when TMZ gets a tip that Khloé is pregnant. Because she’s still in her difficult first trimester, she’s not quite ready to announce to the world that she’s expecting, and TMZ doesn’t exactly sit on these stories. When TMZ tells Khloé that she has five minutes to deny the report or else it goes up, Khloé is in an impossible situation. The article comes out, but Khloé decides that she still can’t officially confirm it until she’s further along and feels that she’s having a totally safe pregnancy. So wise. So real. So Khloprah.

Kourtney is considering freezing her eggs because this ever-growing brood needs to keep expanding far into the future in order to totally take over E!. She goes to see Dr. Huang, who tells her that he would like to get her on estrogen to help her produce more eggs on a quicker schedule. Because she would like to do it naturally, which would be a much longer process, she decides to take time to weigh her options. She consults with friends and family and discovers that while she is in a solid window of opportunity to freeze many good eggs, she might experience depression because of the hormones. She ultimately decides not to go through with it for the time being because it’s her body and her choice and she’ll do it if and when she’s ready, y’all.

Kris, inspired by Kim, wants to go blonde for the first time in her life. Kim tells her that her hair will be gummy as a result and that she should take some time to really think about it. Kris decides to ease into it by first wearing a short icy blonde wig. Kim tells Kris she looks like Miranda Priestly from The Devil Wears Prada and this allows Kris to explore the boundaries of identity and mimicry. She adopts a Miranda Priestly identity, and while it’s a shaky impression at first, she does her research and eventually settles into a solid Miranda. At a dinner where Khloé, Kim, and Kourtney all go blonde and Miranda, we see a meeting of the ice cold and fierce minds of entrepreneurial queens who will stop at nothing to build their brands, and suddenly we realize that Meryl Streep’s next big role should be playing all the Kardashians.

HBO Max renewedEuphoria for a third season back in 2022, but we sadly haven't seen any progress on the show in the way of filming. Though details surrounding the plot for Euphoria season 3 haven't been revealed, we are awaiting the TV show with excitement!

Euphoria has inspired our coolest makeup looks and on-point Halloween costumes, so we can’t wait to see what the next season of this neon-lighted, drama-filled story holds. Here’s what we know about season 3, thus far. Stay tuned for more updates!

When will Euphoria season 3 start filming?

Eddy Chen / HBO

The Euphoria season 3 delay comes down to significant script rewrites (not to mention how busy the cast is!). According to Variety, the current plan is for the Euphoria cast to work on other projects throughout 2024, and to come back with a 2025 filming plan on October 1. Filming could take at least 25 weeks. However, it looks like that plan could change at any time.

In a March 2024 interview with Who What Wear, Sydney Sweeney shared her excitement to return. "It’s going to be very, very wild,” she says. And regarding the time gap between seasons 2 and 3, Sydney “actually [likes] it because there’s so much room for growth for both me as a person and also Cassie as a character."

Storm Reid, who plays Rue's (Zendaya) little sister Gia in the series, expressed her hope (and a bit of hesitance) in for Euphoria season 3 in talks with E! News at the Challengerspremiere in April 2024.

"We're on pause right now, but we're anxious to get back," she said. "If it's meant to be, we'll be back soon and we'll give the audience what they want and deserve. Hopefully, we will be back."

On the other hand, according to an article published by Vanity Fair, another cast member (who wished to remain anonymous) says, “I just don’t think it will happen.”

The anonymous actor also shed some light on the show's delay.

“Since January of 2022, we have had a start date of March that turned into June, that turned into January,” they say. “And then they kept pushing every month from then on. It was two full years of HBO telling all the actors we were going back soon, so we couldn’t take some jobs.”

Now that Euphoria season 3 is officially on hiatus, the cast members aren't barred from taking further jobs, they say: “Before last week I couldn’t take any TV jobs. Since they have put it on hiatus, I can now take any job. But what sucks is that we all had more momentum right when the show came out but now it’s been 2 years of waiting.”

When is the Euphoria season 3 release date?

Eddy Chen / HBO

Now that the tentative filming date has been pushed back to 2025, we’re expecting the beloved show to return sometime in 2026. Luckily, fans are familiar with waiting a long time for new releases (remember that 2 ½-year wait for Euphoria season 2?), and hopefully the pent-up hype will be worth it when the show finally comes to streaming.

Why is Euphoria season 3 delayed?

Eddy Chen / HBO

We've been waiting for Euphoria season 3 for about two years, but (in addition to Zendaya being #BookedAndBlessed), there's a very good reason for the delay.

“[Sam Levinson is] a person who writes and rewrites and writes and rewrites again, because I think he's wrestling with what's important,” Colman Domingo tells GQ. “He's responding immediately to what the ills of the world are. I know that the one thing I can tell you is that he's very much interested in the existential question of who we are right now. Our souls. That's what he wants to figure out with season three.”

“HBO and Sam Levinson remain committed to making an exceptional third season,” HBO says in a statement to Deadlineabout the show's official, if temporary, pause. “In the interim, we are allowing our in-demand cast to pursue other opportunities.”

So much has happened in the real world since the end of Euphoria season 2 that could have an impact on the new installment, and I can't wait to see what that looks like!

Will there be a time jump in Euphoria season 3?

Eddy Chen / HBO

Multiple stakeholders in the Euphoria-verse expressed their interest in seeing the characters out of high school. When asked about season 3 in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Zendaya expressed her eagerness to see what post-East Highland will look like for the cast:

“I think it’ll be exciting to explore the characters out of high school,” said Zendaya. “I want to see what Rue looks like in her sobriety journey, how chaotic that might look. But also with all the characters, in the sense where they’re trying to figure out what to do with their lives when high school is over and what kind of people they want to be.”

Heidi Bivens, the HBO show’s costume designer, hinted further at a time jump between seasons 2 and 3 when talking with Vogue: “There is talk of [season 3] being approximately five years in the future, and that they’re not in high school anymore. Dorothy’s not in Kansas anymore.”

What's going to happen in Euphoria season 3?

Eddy Chen / HBO

Season 2 of Euphoria left us with a lot to unpack: Rue’s (potential) sobriety, Lexi’s chaotic play, Fez and Ash’s shootings, Cal’s insane sexual spiral, and of course, the glorious girl fight between Maddy and Cassie. The third season has some loose ends to tie up, and we can’t wait to see how it’s done.

Sam Levinson tells EllethatEuphoria season 3 is more of a “film noir,” and that Rue's plot line will “explore what it means to be an individual with principles in a corrupt world.”

Originally, Sam showed multiple story ideas to both Zendaya and HBO (and although Z doesn't have total creative control, as an executive producer, she does get a say in where her story goes). The show will feature a time jump, bringing the characters closer to the actors' ages. According to Variety, the first draft of the script gave the "meaty" storyline to Sydney Sweeney and Jacob Elordi, and featured Zendaya's Rue as a private detective in more of a background role. More recent rewrites incorporated Z's idea of making Rue, who would now be sober, a pregnancy surrogate. Unfortunately, "the new scripts simply didn’t feel like the show tonally."

Who's in the Euphoria season 3 cast?

Eddy Chen/HBO

And the cast list for Euphoria season 3? We know that Barbie Ferreira (Kat) won’t be returning for season 3, due to butting heads one too many times with the show’s creator, Sam Levinson.

At the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, Dominic Fike (who played Elliot in Euphoria season 2) told Variety it “would be dope” to come back for Euphoria season 3, but that “I don’t really talk to them anymore.” And after Angus Cloud's (Fez) tragic passing, some fans were calling for HBO Max to cancel the series.

But when we finally do see the series again, it’s safe to say that we’ll see more of the main cast: Zendaya (Rue), Sydney Sweeney, (Cassie), Hunter Schafer (Jules), Alexa Demie (Maddy), Jacob Elordi (Nate), Maude Apatow (Lexi), and more – but who knows? The production team may surprise us with new additions, like they did with Dominic Fike’s Elliot.

How many Euphoria seasons are there?

Eddy Chen / HBO

There are currently two seasons of Euphoria — both of which you can stream on HBO Max now. And it sounds like Euphoria season 3 will be the final installment. The Euphoria cast is contracted for the junior season, and according to a Variety source, they're all committed to seeing the story "through to the end with a third season."

This post has been updated.

You probably know that Taylor Swift is *all over* pop culture right now. (Siri, play "You All Over Me" from Fearless (Taylor's Version)). Her record-breaking Eras Tour picks back up in May 2024, she's going to start working on her new movie soon, and The Tortured Poets Department drops April 19. And it looks like we could see her enter the podcast space too, because while her boyfriend Travis Kelce has mentioned her on New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, she might FINALLY make an appearance after wearing a New Heights hat to Coachella this past weekend.

We know that Taylor can write incredible lyrics, and her interviews can be laugh-out-loud hilarious, so this is one podcast episode I would simply have to tune into. Here's everything we know about the "it" couple *and* the New Heights podcast for 2024. Check out The 27 Best Podcasts On Spotify Right Now for even more listening inspo.

Is Taylor Swift going to be on Travis Kelce's New Heights podcast?

Image via Frazer Harrison/Getty Images

After Taylor Swift wore a New Heights hat to Coachella weekend 1, Wave Sports + Entertainment reportedly posted a Snapchat (via TikTok) teasing an upcoming New Heights podcast guest. "Trav is giddy about this week's guest," the Snapchat reads. "Reveal tomorrow."

While there's no official word on whether we'll see Taylor Swift join Jason and Travis Kelce, this seems like the perfect season for her to be a guest star! With everything from Taylor Swift's Bahamas vacation to her new album and Reputation (Taylor's Version)going viral right now, this podcast episode would be incredible.

What day does New Heights podcast come out?

Image via Christian Petersen/Getty Images

New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce drops every Wednesday. You can listen on Audible, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify now! I don't know about you but this feels like the perfect treat for the middle of the work week.

Where can I watch New Heights?

Image via New Heights/YouTube

New episodes of New Heights are available to watch on YouTube. While listening to podcast episodes can be fun (and useful if you're on the go), I love watching the video versions because you can see Jason and Travis Kelce's expressions, which is even more entertaining!

Is New Heights podcast free?

Image via Spotify

Yes, the New Heights podcast is free to listen to if you have access to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or YouTube.

Where can I get New Heights merch?

Image via New Heights/Homage

If you want to grab a New Heights hat for yourself (although maybe not Tay's dark green one...it's sold out), you can check out the New Heights shop on Homage. They have everything from caps to shirts, and they even have cozy hoodies for the nights you're watching Eras Tour livestreams! I'm obsessed with this Donna Kelce tee.

I'm waiting for season 3 of Bridgerton with baited breath, and if there's one thing I'm sure of, it's that this season will be romantic. Everything about the costumes, set design, and even the hair and makeup is even dreamier than season 1 and season 2! Netflix just dropped a whole batch of new images from the new TV show and I've already analyzed them all so you don't have to. Whip up a Bridgerton recipe and let's get scrolling!

Your Latest Look At Bridgerton Season 3

Image via Netflix

Eloise Bridgerton has always been sassy, and it looks like that won't stop in Bridgerton season 3.

Image via Netflix

I can't wait to see Hannah Dodd step into the role of Francesca Bridgerton and to play some amazing music. The show is known for its classical covers of pop songs — will we see Francesca play some Taylor Swift?

Image via Netflix

Nicola Coughlan's Penelope Featherington might be the star of the show this year, but (based on her expression) that doesn't mean the season will be smooth sailing. Is she annoyed with Colin? Her mother? Her sisters? The answer is probably D: all of the above.

Image via Netflix

Speaking of Penelope's mother, Lady Featherinton looks very springlike in shades of purple, pink, and green. Just like Penelope is redoing her wardrobe this year, it looks like her family could be following in her footsteps. I'm here for it!

Image via Netflix

Alice and Will look amazing in their new fashions, but it looks like there might be some trouble.

Image via Netflix

There is a lot going on in this Bridgerton season 3 pic and I need to dissect it immediately. Eloise looks distressed, Benedict looks concerned, and no one else is paying attention. I've always loved Benedict and Eloise's relationship, and I can't wait to see how that develops this season, and even in season 4!

Image via Netflix

I wish I could spend my days sitting in a garden with impeccable jewelry and a fan. However, my real question is: who's Penelope looking at? I'm betting it could be Colin Bridgerton. An early clip from Bridgerton season 3 showed Penelope finally confronting Colin about his horrible comments in season 2 and I need him to apologize more than I've ever needed anything.

Image via Netflix

Adjoa Andoh looks absolutely radiant as Lady Danbury, and I'm sure she will continue to slay all season long.

Image via Netflix

Colin Bridgerton looks as moody as ever. No one should be this moody after a bunch of summer travels!!

Image via Netflix

Penelope Featherington might be wearing pale seafoam for a lot of Bridgerton season 3, but it looks like she is also adding some darker jewel tones into the mix. Is she in her Reputation era?

Image via Netflix

It's up to Queen Charlotte to pick another Diamond of the Season, and judging by the look on her face, it won't be an easy task this year. But no matter how tough things get, I love that Brimsley is always right by her side!

Image via Netflix

It looks like tensions continue to mount between Penelope Featherington and Cressida Cowper...

Image via Netflix

...but that a new friendship might be blossoming between Cressida and Eloise Bridgerton? Needless to say, I am *shocked.*

Image via Netflix

Penelope looks incredible in her new fashions, and I'm convinced this is yet another tease for Penelope and Colin's highly-anticipated mirror scene.

Image via Netflix

There's nothing like a sibling card game with a glass of fresh lemonade, IYKYK. I hope Hyacinth beats all her siblings at every game from here on out.

Image via Netflix

I love the Bridgerton home more than anything. The shades of blue! The texture! The lighting! Add this to an Architectural Digest celebrity home tour STAT.

What are you excited to see in these new Bridgerton season 3 images? Read up on Bridgerton season 4 for the latest news on the ton.

The Noha Dress is also shoppable in a red floral colorway in sizes 0-12, 14-16, and 22-24 for $148.

Delilah Linen Dress

It's giving sleek. It's giving luxury. It's giving power. The Delilah dress from Reformation is the perfect investment piece for dinner parties, weddings, and more! The strapless (but still secure) neckline means no fussing with adjustable straps slipping and sliding, and the mini skirt is just the right length to cover you up. The limited color palette part of this dress makes it a contender for paring with more black and white pieces or going crazy with added color!

Louisa Linen Dress

Your next wedding guest dress: found! This floral frock is the ultimate piece to have hanging in your closet for formal occasions since it's cozy to wear and totally picture-worthy. The 100% linen Louisa Linen Dress features a sleek, scooped neckline that secures in the front with buttons, and in the back with a bowtie. The skirt falls around your calves, providing the opportunity to easily elevate your look with some cute heels.

It appears Panera's new era is here with an updated lineup of sandwiches, salads, and sides. The Panera menu got a massive facelift at the beginning of April 2024 with new items and OG faves that feature never-before-seen recipe enhancements.

“We are getting back to Panera at its best with these menu updates that are centered completely on our guests and what they love about us,” said Alicia Mowder, SVP of Product Strategy & Insights at Panera Bread. “We’ve listened to thousands of guests on our path to unveiling more than 20 new or enhanced menu items and are thrilled to bring these products to Panera bakery-cafes nationwide.”

With promises of more satisfying portions and better value, I truly cannot wait to experience the rejuvenated Panera menu! It's looking mighty tasty. Scroll for everything that's new to the Panera menu and available to order now!

All-New Items On The Panera Menu

Chicken Bacon Rancher

This new sammie features slabs of grilled chicken, applewood smoked bacon, aged white cheddar, and ranch dressing on Panera's Black Pepper Focaccia bread, and it looks divine. I'm not entirely big on bacon, but I think this stack has the perfect balance between ingredients. That focaccia, though!

Ciabatta Cheesesteak

I could really go for one of these right now. With this newcomer sandwich, strips of tender marinated sliced steak, provolone cheese, garlic aioli, caramelized onions, and a pile of zesty-sweet Panera Peppadew™ peppers are layered between bodied slices of ciabatta.

Toasted Italiano

The Toasted Italiano is everything you could ever want from an Italian sub. Black Forest ham, soppressata, provolone, romaine, red onion, sliced pepperoncini peppers (YUM!), garlic aioli, and Greek dressing meld miraculously together on Panera’s toasted French baguette bread.

Tomato Basil BLT

This sandwich is the result of when a classic BLT meets fresh Italian flavors like tomato and basil. It boasts strips of applewood smoked bacon, crisp mixed greens, vine-ripened tomatoes, garlic aioli, and salt and pepper all slathered onto Panera's Tomato Basil Miche bread.

Bacon Mac & Cheese

Oh wow. This mac makes we want to act up! Sultry, stringy white cheddar sauce hugs every single inch of the shell pasta included in this bowl. You can also order it in a cup as a side dish or in one of Panera's famed bread bowls. The cheesy goodness gets topped off with crispy bits of applewood smoked bacon. I'm drooling, honestly.

Southwest Chicken Ranch Salad

All the vibrant colors of this salad are calling to me! This Southwest-inspired salad highlights a bed of romaine tossed in ranch dressing with grilled chicken, chipotle aioli, fresh avocado, grape tomatoes, fire-grilled corn, fresh cilantro, and blue corn tortilla strips joining in on the delicious fun.

Ranch Cobb Salad

There's nothing like a Cobb salad, TBH. This brand-new take from Panera features romaine and mixed greens tossed in ranch dressing, which gets topped with grape tomatoes, pickled red onions, applewood smoked bacon, feta cheese, and a hard-boiled egg – a classic!

Mediterranean Chicken Greens with Grains

It's nice to see that Panera's boosting their salads with more grains, a la Sweetgreen or CAVA. This dish takes on Mediterranean flavors, hosting a medley of farro, red rice, grilled chicken, hummus, feta, red onions, zesty sweet Peppadew™ peppers, sliced cucumbers, and a sprinkle of Panera’s Mediterranean shawarma seasoning. Is it lunchtime yet?!

Balsamic Chicken Greens with Grains

Balsamic lovers, rise up! This fresh new fare from the Panera menu has romaine, mixed greens, farro, red rice, sliced cucumbers, pepperoncini peppers, fresh avocado, feta, pumpkin seeds, and a dose of balsamic vinaigrette and Green Goddess dressing.

Panera Menu Items That Got Upgraded

Bravo Club Sandwich

There are 13 items on the Panera menu that received recipe enhancements alongside the newly-debuted dishes. According to Debbie Roberts, the Chief Operating Officer at Panera Bread, the upgrades resulted from customer and employee feedback.

“Panera’s New Era is incredibly exciting, not only for our guests, but also our associates, who will be able to renew their focus on our core menu and serve our guests more efficiently with enhanced portions and better value,” said Roberts. “We are eager to get back to our roots within these core categories and unveil these delicious new menu innovations, all while providing an exceptional guest experience.”

The first menu item that got a facelift is the Bravo Club, which features oven-roasted turkey breast, Black Forest ham, applewood smoked bacon, aged white cheddar, crisp mixed greens, vine-ripened tomatoes, signature Bravo sauce, and salt and pepper on Tomato Basil Miche bread.

Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt

Next up is the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt, and it looks insanely good. The balance Panera has created between smoked chicken, aged white cheddar, fresh sliced avocado, fresh cilantro, zesty sweet Peppadew™ peppers, and chipotle aioli in this sandwich is super impressive. It's all laid atop their Black Pepper Focaccia!

Toasted Frontega Chicken Sandwich

If mozzarella is involved, I'm 1000% there. This enhanced sammie has it all: smoked, pulled chicken, fresh mozz, vine-ripened tomatoes, red onions, fresh basil, chipotle aioli, and salt and pepper all inside Panera's Black Pepper Focaccia.

Spicy Buffalo Chicken Melt

You really can't go wrong with Buffalo flavors, but it appears Panera has leveled up even more with the Spicy Buffalo Chicken Melt! Smoked, pulled chicken, American cheese, red onions, and spicy Buffalo sauce get piled onto a toasted French Baguette for a heavenly bite filled with cheesiness, crunchiness, and spice.

Smokehouse BBQ Chicken Sandwich

One of the more simplistic items on the Panera menu, this sandwich has a nice mix of chicken, BBQ sauce, red onions, and aged white cheddar on ciabatta.

Grilled Chicken & Avocado BLT

I fear I could eat one of these every day, it looks so yum. Grilled chicken, applewood smoked bacon, aged white cheddar, crisp mixed greens, vine-ripened tomatoes, fresh sliced avocado, garlic aioli, and salt and pepper layer in between Panera's Country Rustic Sourdough bread in this dish!

Turkey & Cheddar Sandwich

The new-and-improved Turkey & Cheddar Sandwich isn't just turkey and cheddar. This pick features the classic meat and cheese combo alongside stacks of fresh tomato, mixed greens, onions, and garlic aioli – all stacked high between sourdough bread slices.

Green Goddess Chicken Cobb Salad

This one's for the girls and guys who eat their greens! Fitted with a hearty (but still light) mix of romaine, mixed greens, Green Goddess dressing, grilled chicken, grape tomatoes, pickled red onions, fresh avocado, applewood smoked bacon and a hard-boiled egg, this salad definitely lands on the more satisfying, filling side of things.

Fuji Apple Chicken Salad

Apples on salad are ahh-mazing! The enhanced Panera menu is embracing the savory-sweet flavor combo with this chicken-filled salad topped with crisp apple chips. It highlights a bed of romaine and mixed greens that is tossed in a sweet white balsamic vinaigrette, then topped with grilled chicken, grape tomatoes, red onions, toasted pecan pieces, feta crumbles, and the apple chips.

Caesar Salad

Panera's transformed their Caesar salad to have an even better value with this round of menu enhancements. You can get this pick with or without chicken. The greens get doused in Caesar dressing, then get topped with grilled chicken, shaved parmesan cheese, black pepper, and sea salt croutons for crunch.

Greek Salad

The all-new Greek Salad can also be ordered with or without chicken. It has a classic medley of romaine, Greek dressing, grape tomatoes, feta cheese, sliced cucumbers, red onions, kalamata olives, sliced pepperoncini peppers, and salt and pepper for flavor.
