Blank Street's New Cold Brew Menu Is Like Espresso, But Better. Here's How To Make It At Home!

cold brew menu blank street

If you refuse to drink anything but cold brew coffee when the weather gets above 70 (or all year round, let's be real), then listen up: Blank Street created an entire menu just for you. If you're a little skeptical, rest assured that some of our favorite "It" girls — namely Emily Ratajkowski and Emma Chamberlain — are fans of the Brooklyn coffee shop's cold brew.

The secret to these drinks is the Cold Brew Shot, a highly concentrated 1.5 ounces of Blank Street's signature cold brew (very similar to an espresso shot). Once they have that cold brew shot, they created a line of brand new cold brew drinks we can't wait to get our hands on.

🏠 Bring It Home: Our favorite at-home cold brew recipe is a 1:4 cold brew to water ratio. Meaning one cup of coffee can mix with four cups of water. Adjust accordingly!

Original Cold Brew

This is the perfect drink for anyone who loves the simple things in life. The sharper edge of the coffee mixes with smooth milk chocolate and caramel for a drink we can't get enough of.

🏠 Bring It Home: Mix your cold brew with chocolate milk for that silky finish.

Cortado Cold Brew

If you're particular about your milk, then this Cortado drink is for you. It mixes the Cold Brew Shot with a just dash of your favorite milk, served over ice, of course.

🏠 Bring It Home: Add a splash of whatever milk you have in your fridge to your cold brew. Sweetener optional but encouraged. :)

Grapefruit Cold Brew Spritz

Adding club soda to your coffee might sound crazy, but if there's one flavor that makes it work, it's grapefruit. Vanilla bean is the perfect finishing touch because it adds just a touch of sweetness without overwhelming the rest of the drink.

🏠 Bring It Home: Add your coffee shot to your glass, then top with club soda and grapefruit juice. Depending on how sweet you want your drink, you can add either vanilla syrup or vanilla extract.

Shaken Brown Sugar Cold Brew

For this drink, you'll want to follow Selena Gomez' advice and "shake it up." Dark brown sugar, your choice of milk, and a Cold Brew Shot blend together beautifully. Finish with a pinch of cinnamon.

🏠 Bring It Home: You probably already have all of these ingredients at home! Use a mason jar or cocktail shaker to shake dark brown sugar, milk, and cold brew together. After you pour the mix into your glass, top with cinnamon.

Shaken Chai Cold Brew

This cold brew drink features small batch Masala Chai (which is basically chai concentrate), shaken with milk and a Cold Brew Shot. Top with a pinch of cinnamon for good measure.

🏠 Bring It Home:: Use your favorite chai concentrate or brew your own with a few chai tea bags. Once the tea is cool, shake with your favorite milk and cold brew. Pour, top with cinnamon, and enjoy!

Life is all about the little treats that keep you going. For me, it’s either a sweet dessert or a biiig cup of iced coffee – but those purchases can really rack up, especially when I’m making weekly (or TBH, twice- or thrice-weekly) Starbucks runs. I know I’m not alone in wishing there were more Starbucks deals that’d save me a buck or two each visit.

Wish no more – there are actually tons of ways to snag some Starbucks deals. I’ll even dish on how to get free Starbucks right now. Read on for the coolest coffee deals around!

Does Starbucks have discounts?

Yes, Starbucks has discounts often. They usually depend on the day and time you visit, or seasonal offerings that the chain decides to promote. You can easily find Starbucks deals in the Starbucks app, and check back here for current offers!

What is the cheapest thing to get from Starbucks?

If you still want a drink (but want to spend the least amount of money), a kids-sized steamed (or cold) apple juice is the cheapest thing to get from Starbucks at $2.25. Typically, any kids-sized drink will save you some dough!

How does Starbucks Rewards work?

You earn 1 Star per $1 spent at a Starbucks location with Starbucks Rewards after scanning the Starbucks app and paying with cash, debit card, credit card, or select mobile wallets. You can earn 2 Stars per $1 spent after making a purchase with a preloaded Starbucks Card linked to your Starbucks Rewards account as well. Once you earn enough, you can spend those Stars on freebies like a drink customization, a hot brewed coffee, or a handcrafted drink like a latte!

1. Look out for flash deals

Starbucks regularly runs deals that depend on the day and time you visit – you just have to check in the right places. More often than not, they’ll be posted on the Starbucks app.

Right now, they’re offering several deals for May 2024:

  • 50% off one handcrafted beverage on May 10, 17, 24, and 31 only from 12-6pm local time
  • Personalized offers released in the Starbucks app on May 13, 20, and 27 only

Plus, new Starbucks Rewards members who join during the month of May will will receive 50% off any handcrafted drink during their first week as a member. All they have to do is download the app, join Starbucks Rewards, and click the ‘New Members Get 50% Off’ link!

2. Use Starbucks Rewards

Like I mentioned before, the Starbucks app is a pretty easy way to know what deals are going on when. Signing up for Starbucks Rewards will get you on track to get free Starbucks even easier. Their rewards system operates via Stars – you’ll earn 1 Star for each $1 spent when scanning the Starbucks app and paying with cash, debit card, credit card, or select mobile wallets, or 2 Stars per $1 spent when you pay with a preloaded Starbucks Card in the Starbucks app.
  • 25 Stars earns you a free drink customization
  • 100 Stars earns you a free brewed hot or iced coffee or tea, a bakery item, or a packaged snack
  • 200 Stars earns you a free handcrafted beverage or hot breakfast item
  • 300 Stars earns you a free sandwich, protein box or a bag of coffee beans
  • 400 Stars earns you free Starbucks merch (select items only)

If you’re a regular customer, signing up for Starbucks Rewards will definitely pay off! Learn more here.

3. Opt for a personal cup

When you use a personal cup at Starbucks, you receive a $0.10 discount. For regular visitors, those savings can rack up! Furthermore, if you're a Starbucks Rewards member, using a personal cup, you'll receive 25 Stars. Now, you can use a clean (this is key!) personal cup in Starbucks cafes, in the drive-thru, and even when you order ahead on the app.

4. Don't forget about birthday rewards

Starbucks deals also include birthday freebies, in which you’ll get one free handcrafted beverage, OR one free food item, OR one free ready-to-drink bottled bev.

All you have to do to take advantage of the free Starbucks is register for a Starbucks Rewards account and ensure your birthday date is associated with your account, then once the big day comes, show it to your barista. They’ll take care of you!

There's NOTHING like the Disney magic I felt in my favorite series growing up. Sometimes, it was the magic of coming of age, like in Lizzie McGuire, and sometimes, it was literal magic, like in Wizards Of Waverly Place. Turns out, I'm not the only one who misses Waverly Place because Selena Gomez and her onscreen brother David Henrie are returning for another installment of the hit series! Here's everything we know about the Wizards Of Waverly Place revival (fittingly titled Wizards Beyond Waverly Place) so far.

After starring in the series, the Wizards of Waverly Place movie, and The Wizards Return: Alex vs. Alex reunion special, the cast is "so excited" to return, according to executive producer Selena Gomez' Instagram story. "The Russo’s are excited to become a part of your family, once again, but we’ve grown," David says in an Instagram post. "2024, the year magic comes back!"

What is the Wizards of Waverly Place revival about?

Image via Disney

In this new take on the Wizards of Waverly Place world, Justin has traded his powers for a regular life without magic. But when a young wizard named Billie seeks him out, he learns that the future of the wizard world is at stake. We don't know what role Alex will play in the pilot, but we do know Selena is set to make an appearance. I'm definitely expecting her to give Justin some sassy advice — it's what Alex does best!

When does Wizards Beyond Waverly Place come out?

Image via Disney Channel

We'll see Wizards Beyond Waverly Place later this year!

Is Wizards Beyond Waverly Place a reboot?

Image via Disney Channel

The new Wizards of Waverly Place TV show will serve as a revival rather than a reboot. Instead of a new Justin and Alex, we'll see new characters as well as reappearances from our faves! In addition to David Henrie starring as a series regular and Selena Gomez making a guest appearance, the duo will executive produce.

Who's in the Wizards Beyond Waverly Place cast?

Image via Disney

Along with Selena Gomez and David Henrie, we'll see Janice LeAnn Brown as Billie, Mimi Gianopulos as Justin's wife Giada, and Alkaio Thiele as Justin's son Roman. We don't have other official cast members, but according to David Henrie (via People), they "definitely plan on bringing back the original cast for the series order."

Why did they stop making Wizards of Waverly Place?

Image via Disney Channel

There was a rumor that Wizards of Waverly Place ended so Selena Gomez could move on to different acting roles, although the actress never confirmed it. But as opposed to some of our favorite series that were cancelled out of the blue, Wizards of Waverly Place came to more of a natural stopping point by the end, and a finale made sense!

Where can I watch the Wizards of Waverly Place movie?

Image via Disney Channel

You can watch the Wizards of Waverly Place movie, all four seasons of the show, and Alex Vs. Alexon Disney+ now!

Are you excited to see the Wizards Beyond Waverly Place revival, as well as Selena Gomez and David Henrie as Alex and Justin again? Follow us on Facebook for more breaking news in the pop culture space!
