For whatever reason, alcohol inspires the craziest ideas: look no further than glazed donut vodka for proof. But combine tech and alcohol and what do you get? A couple of the most insane, and a lot of the most rad, ideas in the history of drinking. We’ve rounded up 21 gadgets for all your boozing needs (and yes, that 21 was on purpose — this article is for all you 21+ readers!). Some of these we’ve featured before, some are new finds, some are slightly out-there, but all are awesome. Is it happy hour yet?


2. Remote Control Beverage Cooler ($80): This beverage cooler can deliver up to 12 ice-cold brews to people around your kitchen, patio, or, um, office! Count us in!


3. Electric Amphibious Vehicle ($99): Want your beer delivered to you on a little bit more rugged terrain? Like say, poolside? (Hey, we didn’t say it was that rugged.) Up to 4 bottles or cans can reach you by land or by sea, guaranteeing you’ll never be without a beer when you need it.


4. Cardboard Cooler Boxes ($15): We know you’re already recycling your bottles and cans after you’re finished, but why stop there when you can recycle your cooler? These are great for occasional drinkers who don’t want to invest in a full-on cooler but who do want an impromptu session of drinking in the park.


5. Vodka Zinger ($39): Remember earlier when we were talking about crazy liquor flavors, like PB&J vodka? Here’s your chance to get in on the game. This little gadget lets you infuse 830 mL of liquid (as its name suggests, especially vodka!) with your choice of fruit. How impressive would it be to serve your guests cocktails with home-infused tropical fruit or mixed berry vodka? If you’re into less boozy beverages, holla at its sober sister, the Aqua Zinger.


6. Porthole: ($99): Looking for a little more pretty with your infusion? This gadget lets you infuse up to 380 mL of liquid in an incredibly easy and beautiful way. It doubles as a gorgeous addition to your kitchen or bar decor, reminiscent of timelapse photography.


7. Road Popper ($39): You didn’t think we could resist including a 3D-printed gadget, did you? This bike-mounted bottle opener makes popping open a cold one crazy easy and convenient. Just don’t drink and ride!


8. Roll ‘n Pour ($16): We still can’t get over this gadget. Maybe a bit on the ridiculous side, this could also be a cool way to let guests make their own cocktails by setting up mixers in these easy-pour holders.

9. KegMate (not available for purchase): Gotta love engineers. The ones over at Yelp created this iPad controlled keg that keeps track of everyone’s boozing and shows the beer’s info + rating so you know exactly what (and how much) you’re drinking. We just wish they would sell it, although now we’re dying to hack it ourselves!

10. Corksicle ($30 for 2): We’re obsessed with this handy product this summer. Keep your beer cool wherever you are with these fun little devices.


11. Drink Dispensing Driver ($90): The only kind of drinking and driving we condone is on the golf course. This is basically a huge flask in the shape of a golf club, with the added convenience of a spout that dispenses 1 oz per second. It’s connected to a cooler that fits easily in your golf bag so that you can keep up to 54 oz of whatever-your-poison-is cold while you’re hitting the links. Pro tip: pair one of these with a golf tee/shot glass combo and you’ll be the envy of all on the course. We take no responsibility for any sand traps that may result ;)


12. Intoxicase ($35): We wrote about this back in January, but we’re bringing it back. This is an iPhone case that doubles as a bottle opener so you’ll definitely never be caught with no way to open that beer you just bought. On top of that, it corresponds to an app that tracks the number of drinks you’ve had — it’ll even pop up with a notification if it thinks it’s time for you to call it a night. Nice!


13. Le Whaf ($172): Remember that episode of Parks and Rec when Tom takes the guys to an uber-trendy bar and he ends up wafting the aromasphere of his drink? That’s basically this in a nutshell: Le Whaf claims to turn your drink into a “drinkable cloud.” Ron Swanson may not like it, but we’re definitely intrigued, if not totally sold.


14. Milk Frother ($70): Want to create the most awesome after dinner cocktails ever? Hook yourself up with this automatic milk frother to create some seriously professional tasting coffee cocktails that will warm you right up.


15. Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker ($479): On the other end of the thermometer, transport yourself to a tropical paradise (or an old spring break) with some delicious frozen cocktails. You can create three 24-oz portions of any of the following: margarita, daiquiri, colada, mudslide, mojito, or smoothie. Anyone else now have this song stuck in their head?


16. Bartendro (available for pre-order): This open-source project, which we discovered back when it was on Kickstarter, is basically a robotic bartender. You can preorder the dispenser for a base cost of $129, but each sensor will cost you $20 and you’ll definitely have to do some setup once it arrives. Definitely a gadget for the techie drinker!


17. Bar10der: Become an epic mixologist with this little but powerful gadget. It contains a corkscrew, muddler, stirrer, jigger, strainer, reamer, knife, channel knife, zester, and of course, a bottle opener. You might want to carry this around with you for any spontaneous cocktail parties you wind up at.


18. Isi Whip ($130): Infuse flavor into your whipped cream, creamy cheeses, buttercream, and, you guessed it, booze! We’re loving that you can create a totally personal cocktail with this gadget: from the liquor to the whipped cream to top it off, it’s all yours. Our minds have been spinning with the dessert cocktail possibilities since we found this guy!


19. Turn Juice to Alcohol ($30): Ok, so Prohibition is over, but there is something about brewing your own booze that seems like fun and a little bit crazy. This kit will let you turn any fruit juice into a refreshing alcoholic beverage. We admit we’re intrigued but we’re not sure we’ll be switching from wine just yet.


20. Crown Capper ($17): We used this to create our own bottled cocktails not too long ago, and we fell in love. We highly recommend trying the same technique for housewarming presents or for bringing interesting, homemade drinks to a BYOB event.


21. Beertender ($99): This is an oldie but a goodie, and a must if your place is party-central for your friends. This punny gadget serves up a 5L Heineken keg and keeps beer fresh for up to 30 days.

Bonus!Cheers: Not for sale, these ice cubes were created as a project at MIT (and featured on the BritList!). They can determine how much you’ve had to drink, turning from green to orange and finally red when you’ve had a bit too much. If things get too crazy, they’ll text a friend from your smartphone telling them what the deal is.

The Ninja Creami Is The Most Iconic Kitchen Appliance I’ve Ever Had

I’ve been living in blissful ice cream heaven for the past month. And though I could easily scamper on over to my neighborhood gelato spot or stock up on summer’s best frozen treats, I’ve been lazily crafting my own inside – courtesy of the Ninja Creami.

If you’ve been literally anywhere on the internet recently, you know that the Creami Craze has truly taken over. Everyone from food-fluencers to gym girlies have been basking in its glory – sharing recipes left and right for ice creams, sorbets, and even frozen cocktails. I admittedly thought the appliance was way too good to be true, and resumed my scrolling in favor of FoodTok and ‘fit checks for a while.

I didn’t realize the sheer magic this thing was capable of until I was thoughtfully gifted one to simply try out. Turns out, the influencers *aren’t* lying about its greatness. From my experience, here’s 5 surefire reasons why you need the Ninja Creami in your kitchen.

Reason 1: It's faster than fast.

The Creami gave me that instant gratification I crave from all cooking projects, no matter what I was making. The paddle tears through frozen-solid liquids in a matter of seconds, resulting in a dangerously thick, velvety ice cream consistency. I’m still in awe (and honestly, a tad confused) about how this thing works – because a blender could definitely *not* do what the Creami does. Perhaps it’s the mystery that keeps me going back.

Reason 2: It's hilariously easy to use.

Because all you have to do to form a fantastically frozen treat is freeze it first and press a few buttons. No, really, a literal monkey could operate the Ninja Creami. There were several times since I got the Creami that my ice cream hankering got so strong, I felt a borderline *astral* draw towards my nearest Sonic – but thankfully didn’t need to lift a finger. I remembered the dismally forgotten Creami bowl in the back of my freezer. From there, all it took was a few minutes to achieve better-than-Sonic-level ice cream. Boom.

Reason 3: It saved me a significant amount on my ice cream bill.

This means the demented dessert demon that arises within me every night once Sweet Treat O’ Clock hits was suppressed from spending money anywhere ice cream is sold. I was able to use ingredients I already had at home to batch out my Creami creations – averaging around 3 servings per bowl. A bang for your buck *and* delicious as can be? You simply cannot deny the deal.

Here are the recipes I’ve made so far, with prices for each ingredient included. I’ve also noted the cost per serving, accounting for the average of 3 servings a bowl. A *steal* rather than a deal, methinks!

Reason 4: Healthy dessert has *never* been easier.

Social media has given us an endless stream of easy, high-protein, low-calorie Ninja Creami recipes to try out, so there’s no excuse to *not* make yummy desserts that are actually good for your health. If you’re paradoxical in nature like me (love to eat healthy, but have a serious sweet tooth), it’s time to hop on the Creami bandwagon. The first and foremost reason being this Cosmic Brownie Protein Ice Cream that has 42 grams of protein for only 297 calories. Mind = blown.

Reason 5: It's so customizable.

Whether your cravings fluctuate from chocolatey to fruity, there’s a Creami recipe out there for you. I found each batch to lend itself to customization with the easy-peasy Mix-In button on the appliance. I added Oreos and cookie dough to my creations, but have plans to experiment with my go-to candies, M&M’s and Reese’s.

Every year, like clockwork, I have a very clear aesthetic shift when we hit March 1. Even if it's still chilly, I'm totally ready to say goodbye to the winter blues and hello to pastels, bouquets, and my personal favorite spring color combo: purple and green. But things get a little messy when Art's pitted against his former best friend Patrick, who's also Tashi's ex. No biggie! This movie looks emotional, sexy, and edgy, and I literally can't wait. I have not been able to stop talking about this franchise since I saw the first installment, and this spring movie looks like it's going to be even better than the original. Dune 2 follows Timothée Chalamet's Paul as he pairs up with the Fremen, confronts his enemies, and learns more about his destiny after his father's murder. Once again I say: I will never stop talking about this new spring movie!!

Dune 2 hits theaters March 1 and stars Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Austin Butler, Josh Brolin, and Rebecca Ferguson.

Spaceman — On Netflix Now

Ricky Stanicky — On Prime Video Now

But when their significant others demand to meet the infamous Ricky, the trio decides to hire actor Rod to play him — and end up regretting creating Ricky in the first place.

Ricky Stanicky premieres March 7 on Prime Video and in theaters. The movie stars Zac Efron, John Cena, Jermaine Fowler, and Andrew Santino.

Kung Fu Panda 4 — In Theaters Now

Jack Black returns to our screens as Po, who has to find a new Dragon Warrior after he's chosen to be the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace. But the quest in this new spring movie gets more difficult when an evil sorceress plans to gather all the villain's Po's already defeated.

You can watch Kung Fu Panda 4 starting March 8. The film stars Jack Black, Awkwafina, James Hong, Dustin Hoffman, Bryan Cranston, Viola Davis, and Ke Huy Quan.

Damsel — On Now

In Damsel, powerhouse actress and entrepreneur Millie Bobby Brown stars as Princess Elodie, who agrees to marry the handsome Prince Henry. But after she's already agreed to the union, and realizes the entire set-up was a trap, Elodie finds herself trapped in a cave with a fire-breathing dragon.

You can watch Damsel on Netflix March 8. The movie stars Angela Bassett, Millie Bobby Brown, Nick Robinson, Ray Winstone, and Robin Wright.

Cabrini — In Theaters Now

In honor of International Women's Day, Angel Studios is releasing Cabrini, which follows the unbelievably inspiring true story of Italian immigrant Francesca Cabrini. When she arrives in the US in 1889, Francesca, dealing with severe health problems, has to gather up all the strength she has in a mission to secure housing for orphans living on the streets of New York City.

Cabrini hits theaters March 8 and stars Virginia Bocelli, Cristiana Dell'Anna, John Lithgow, Romana Maggiora, and David Morse.

Love Lies Bleeding — In Select Theaters Now

"Challengers" Review: Zendaya's Sexy New Movie Is Addictive

The first few trailers for Zendaya's Challengers hooked me with the promise of a steamy love triangle and plenty of drama on and off the tennis court. I can now confidently say this is one of the best movies of the year — if not Zendaya's entire career. The film (which just nabbed a 100 percent Rotten Tomatoes score) explores love and passion in a totally different way than I expected. And while it engages your senses, more than anything, it makes you feel.

"Challengers" Is A Fully Emotional Experience

Challengers (directed by Luca Guadagnino) is a full experience thanks to the visuals, sound design, and score. The first 10 minutes alone will make you want to re-enter your tennis era, and the vibrant feel of Challengers makes everything from a American college campus to a backyard feel like the Italian coast.

This backyard is where we see Mike Faist's Art, Josh O'Connor's Patrick, and Zendaya's Tashi truly mesh for the first time. Both Art and Patrick want Tashi's number, but while she's curious, she's not so sure she should offer it up. They spend time talking about tennis and college, and later that night, Tashi promises her number to the one that wins their match, rather than the one that catches her eye or moves her. It's a telling choice that has major ramifications later on in the story. Tashi just wants to watch drama unfold, especially if it makes the boys' tennis more emotional (she, as the kids say, loves mess).

From this point on, Tashi, Patrick, and Art move as a unit, even when their relationships end. Tashi's at the helm, and while she's definitely the mastermind, she's more like their North Star than a leader giving them direct orders. Patrick and Art follow her light over the course of the next 13 years, to a Challengers tournament that pits the estranged friends against each other.

It's very clear what both men think about her, and the smallest details reinforce they are in love. (For instance, at one of Tashi's early matches, their eyes linger on her even after she's hit the ball, while she barely moves a muscle to keep up with their match later in the movie).

"Challengers" Is More About The Characters Than Tennis

Even though all three leads are fully-formed, individual characters (with wildly different personalities, might I add), they switch places at any given point in the story to fill each other's emotional shoes. One moment, Art is hopeful, Tashi is calculated, and Patrick is driven. The next Tashi is entirely focused on tennis, Art is willing to bend the rules of right and wrong to get what he wants, and Patrick is left in their wake. You can never truly root for one person before the tables are turned, but despite it all, the tension between them always leaves you wanting more.

While the movie has a number of tennis matches (which means an endless amount of tennis grunts), the most impactful moments for me are the quiet ones. We know Art and Patrick are in love with Tashi, but we're never quite sure what Tashi thinks about herself.

The Spider-Man actress brings a nuance to the character we haven't seen from her before, and there's a cautious tenderness to the moments where Tashi's back is facing another character, or where she's standing alone. You can almost see the gears turning in her head. "Almost" is the most important word because Challengers is full of "almosts": Tashi almost apologizes, Art almost chooses himself over everyone.

Challengers is full of open-ended emotions that serve as an exploration of human nature in all its complicated, manipulative, dreamy glory. It's a movie about passion and love and desire — and it's one that leaves you wondering who, or what, the object of that desire is.

Ashlyn Harris is a former U.S. soccer player who had a successful run — no pun intended — as a goalkeeper during the career. She also won the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup in Canada and continued making an impressionable mark. However, she announced her retirementin 2022 and — per her Instagrampage — has gone on to become the Global Creative Advisor for Gotham FC and Adidas Football.

Rumors about a possible connection between Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris swirled last summer when Cosmopolitanreported they were on a panel at Cannes Lion International Festival of Creativity. Sophia shared a pic of the two at the festival on Instagramand wrote, "Love you @ashlynharris24 and @sophieannkelly" towards the end of her caption.

A source told Page Six, "It’s very new...They are definitely a couple.” But, Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris didn't confirm or deny anything at that time.

When did Sophia Bush file for divorce from Grant Hughes?

A couple of months after Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris were seen getting cozy together, Sophia filed for divorce from her former husband Grant Hughes. Peopleshared that they were only married for a little over a year — 13 months — but didn't end on a bad terms. A source then told Entertainment Tonight, "Grant and Sophia are better off as friends and they weren’t getting enough time with each other before their breakup."

When did Ashlyn Harris and Ali Krieger file for divorce?

While things seemed to quiet down, Ashlyn Harris soon filed for divorce from Ali Krieger after getting married towards the end of 2019. What's interesting is that a source told Peoplethis decision wasn't surprising. "Although it’s new information to the public, Ashlyn and Ali’s divorce began months ago and they have been living apart since the summer,” the source said.

This is also around the time it was speculated Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris had their first official date. A rep told People, "Grant will always want the best for Sophia, and is supportive of all that makes her happy and fulfilled." We guess it helps he and Sophia had a solid friendship before getting married!

As for Ali Krieger, she basically let the world know things were business as usual with an Instagrampost. She captioned a pic of her playing soccer with, "Preparing for playoffs while in my Beyoncé lemonade era." A comment from user @lgbtlfg said, "the fact that a lot of players in these comment’s usually mind their business and stay out of drama but are supporting ali should tell everyone all they need to know."

The only thing Ashlyn said about it on Instagramis that she never intended for her and Ali's divorce to be made a public matter. A portion of her note says, "This process is never easy, but we were making our way through."

Besides showing up to Elton John's Oscars afterparty together, Sophia Bush and Ashlyn Harris were previously tight-lipped about their relationship. The only hint Sophia offered was much more of a reflective post about 2023 on Instagramat the beginning of January. She said, "This year taught me to listen to myself and no one else. To let go of expectation that wounds and grasp possibility that frees. To not care about optics and instead invest in honesty."

But, she's since chosen to own where she is in life.

Sophia Bush has now reached a point where she's publicly ready to stand in her truth regarding her life and her relationship status so much that she penned her own cover story for Glamour. The first thing she did was open up about how she really felt about her marriage and fertility struggles.

She wrote, "But after the wedding I found myself in the depths and heartbreak of the fertility process, which was the most clarifying experience of my life. It feels like society is finally making space for brutally honest conversations about how hard and painful any fertility journey is, but I kept mine private. I was trying to get through months of endless ultrasounds, hormone shots, so many blood draws that I have scar tissue in my veins, and retrieval after retrieval, while simultaneously realizing the person I had chosen to be my partner didn’t necessarily speak the same emotional language I did.”

As far as her relationship with Ashlyn Harris is concerned, the star is enjoying the love that exists between them. Contrary to alleged rumors, their initial relationship was a platonic one that stemmed from a place of understanding and support.

She told Glamour,“I didn’t expect to find love in this support system. I don’t know how else to say it other than: I didn’t see it until I saw it. And I think it’s very easy not to see something that’s been in front of your face for a long time when you’d never looked at it as an option and you had never been looked at as an option. What I saw was a friend with her big, happy life. And now I know she thought the same thing about me.”

She also added, "A lot of effort was made to be graceful with other people’s processing, their time and obligations, and their feelings. What felt like seconds after I started to see what was in front of me, the online rumor mill began to spit in the ugliest ways. There were blatant lies. Violent threats. There were the accusations of being a home-wrecker. The ones who said I’d left my ex because I suddenly realized I wanted to be with women—my partners have known what I’m into for as long as I have (so that’s not it, y’all, sorry!).”

It's safe to say that Sophia Bush is thoroughly comfortable with her love life and identity as a queer woman. She said, "I’ve experienced so much safety, respect, and love in the queer community, as an ally all of my life, that, as I came into myself, I already felt it was my home. I think I’ve always known that my sexuality exists on a spectrum. Right now I think the word that best defines it is queer. I can’t say it without smiling, actually. And that feels pretty great.”
