There is nothing that puts us in a seasonal mood quite like a movie. Think about it — Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret totally got us in the mood to tackle spring, and the bright color of all our favorite summer movies gave us more than enough energy for all those Barbenheimer parties. In addition to our Meg Ryan rewatches, new books, and long-awaited albums (we're looking at you, GUTS), this year's fall movies literally cannot be beat. Some are cozy, while others will have you on the edge of your seat (or, in the case of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert film, out of your seat!).
Even though the writers' and SAG-AFTRA actors'strikes have shuffled Hollywood's release schedule (we'll see you in 2024, Dune 2and Challengers!), you can still watch all of this year's best movies while you indulge in the Starbucks fall menu — and before we dive headfirst into this year's winter movies. Here's everything you need to see in theaters and on streaming this fall. I promise, there's truly something for everyone!
Best. Christmas. Ever! — On Netflix November 16
In Best. Christmas. Ever!, Jackie (superstar Brandy!!) uses her annual holiday newsletter to make herself look amazing in the eyes of her friend Charlotte (Heather Graham). But Charlotte's unexpected appearance means that Jackie must keep up the façade IRL...if she can.

Hen and Junior (Saoirse Ronan and Paul Mescal, respectively) are a married couple at the end of themselves.
