As a native Outer Banks-er myself, I can't wait for Outer Banks to return, and it looks like it'll be this year! The Pogues are out of school and on their own, and for Outer Banks season 4, they're staying on the OBX thanks to a treasure hunt for Blackbeard's treasure.

There's one question on everyone's mind after The Bear season 2: how is Carmy getting out of the freezer? (However, admittedly, the question on *my* mind is whether Carmy and Sydney are endgame because HELLO). Big Little Lies Season 3 — Coming Soon To Max

Image via HBO

While we don't know much about the third season of the hit Reese Witherspoon series, we do know that the show will have a major tone shift for one very simple reason: the Monterey Five are dealing with teens now! "These children [on the show] are not children anymore. They’re teenagers now!" Shailene Woodley tells Bazaar. "Their voices have dropped, they all have their teenage situation happening, and the angst is kicking in, and that, to me, is what is exciting about the possibility of a third season. What does life look like for those people who are not children anymore?" I can't wait to find out!

Big Little Lies season 3 is coming to Max soon and we're hoping to see Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman, and Zoë Kravitz, Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern, Kathryn Newton, Meryl Streep, and Adam Scott all return.

In a shocking turn of event, Only Murders in the Building season 4 won't be in Mabel, Charles, and Oliver's building — it won't even be in New York! Hulu's confirmed that the fourth season will take place (at least partly) in LA. Does this mean we'll get a scene of Steve Martin and Martin Short tanning at the beach?

Emily In Paris Season 4 — Coming Soon To Netflix

Image via Amazon

The Seven Days in June TV show news is still pretty fresh, so we don't have much on the cast or release date (although I'm fairly confident we'll see it by the end of 2025). Image via Netflix

Lonely Boy — er, I mean Joe Goldberg — was seen filming around New York City starting March 2024, and while there are a few things we do know (like he's returning to Mooney's Bookstore), I'm more concerned with what we *don't* know. "You're considering what, or should I say who, Joe will come up against as he finally returns to New York," Penn Badgley says in the official teaser. "Though I can't say who just yet, we all know there are many loose ends from Joe's past."

This post has been updated.

In order to avoid eczema flare ups and take on my ever-rising body temperature — getting older is wild, folks — my skincare routine now includes using aluminum-free deodorants. Instead of complaining that things differ as my body ebbs and flows, I’m learning it’s okay to embrace this new change...and sleeping sleeping with the ceiling fan on from time to time so I don't sweat all night. Luckily, I’ve discovered amazing beauty products as a result of all this, and my skin happily welcomes it.

In the market for something that won’t irritate your own skin but will fight odor? I’ve got your back with 6 aluminum-free deodorants that will be gentle on your skin, and tough on any stink.

Native Whole Body Deodorant — Coconut & Vanilla

One of the first aluminum-free deodorants I used was Native’s coconut & vanilla version. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I found that I didn’t have stinky armpits when the day ended. It doesn’t sound pleasant because it never is, but it’s the truth. The thing I love about Native’s Whole Body formula is that it can be applied to places like my under-boob area — something that never mattered before I went up a cup size.

Dove Beauty VitaminCare+ Aluminium-Free Deodorant Stick — Raspberry & Rose

I've also had the chance to try Dove Beauty's aluminum-free deodorant and I have to say I love the texture of it. It literally glides onto the skin and offers the same 72 hours of protection as my favorite Native deodorant. It's also formulated with anti-microbial peptides and niacindamide to help keep your skin free from breakouts. Niacinamide has been such a huge asset for my skin so I get excited whenever I see it in products!

Hey Humans Naturally Derived Aluminum-Free Deodorant — Banana & Aloe

Would you use a dermatologist-tested and aluminum-free deodorant that has essential oils in it? Well, I recommend you try Hey Humans naturally derived formula! Ingredients such as arrowroot powder and coconut oil are what makes this deodorant natural while the recycled packaging keeps it on the sustainable side. Did I mention there's a bit of vitamin E and shea butter in it as well?

It's like you can't go wrong with the super cute packaging and great formula!

Cleo+coco Charcoal (Aluminum-Free) Deodorant — Cocoa Beach

I'm super biased so I love scents that remind me of a relaxing spring break or summer vacation. I'm also a gourmand scent woman so there's there! What intrigues me about this company is that they understand that people have sensitive skin that doesn't always react well to chemicals. It's something I actually love about most of the aluminum-free deodorants I've discovered!

This formula actually derives from Cleo+coco's extra strength deodorant, but uses charcoal and magnesium to fight odor instead of baking soda. I know some people worry about that so wanted to make sure you feel comfortable trying this brand!

P.S. It doesn't leave behind any residue either if you're not a fan of lifting your arms to see white stains streaked across your armpits.

Lumē Whole Body Aluminum-Free Deodorant — Unscented

As much as I love aluminum-free deodorants that have yummy warm scents, I know everyone doesn't like their skincare products to smell like anything. Besides helping to eliminate body odor, this deodorant slowly evens your skin tone over time — bye, bye under arm hyperpigmentation — and reduces skin redness.

Dr. Teal’s Aluminum-Free Deodorant — Eucalyptus

Everyone please remain calm because Dr. Teal's has entered the picture with an aluminum-free deodorant that can best be described as zen in a tube. I'm exaggerating, but the formula helps you absorb any wetness you may feel from sweating thanks to ingredients like arrowroot powder.

Reese isn't the only Witherspoon woman with undeniable beauty, grace, and talent! Her daughter, Ava Phillippe, is basically her twin, but she's managed to carve her own path throughout her life in the limelight. While her mom makes headlines for her adorable friendships with Jennifer Aniston, her highly successful Hello Sunshinecompany, and the upcoming season of The Morning Show, here is everything you should know about Reese Witherspoon's daughter, Ava Phillippe.

Ava's Early Life

Image via Instagram

Ava was born to Reese Witherspoon and her first husband, Ryan Phillippe, on September 9, 1999, in Los Angeles, California. In an interview with Jay Leno, Reese shared that she named her daughter after Ava Gardner because she was the only woman who was able to break Sinatra.

Reese has been open about how difficult the transition to new motherhood was, sharing on The View: "I had a baby really young — I was 23 years old — and so I was raising her by myself. I don't have any sisters, I don't have any aunts. I was alone in a new city, in Los Angles, and I literally had no friends. I would cry."

In 2000, The Morning Show actress guest starred on Friends, and Reese Witherspoon's daughter plays a huge role in Reese's memories from set. "I remember [Jennifer Aniston] and Courteney [Cox] running to my dressing room going 'Can we see the baby?!'" she tells People. "Ava was on set and I got to put her on the couch in Central Perk."

The cast of Friends "had a natural rapport with each other [and] I've never seen it again," she continues. "It was just these six people working in rhythm together and you could tell they truly loved each other."

Despite the difficulties of not having a strong support system, Reese powered through and welcomed her second child with Phillippe, a son named Deacon, in 2003. In 2006, Ava's parents split up.

While the split was likely very difficult for Ava, she was still able to help her father cope with it. In an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2007, Ryan shared that his daughter is his inspiration and helped him get through the toughest time in his life.

Ava's Very Open About Her Anxiety

Following in her mother's footsteps, Ava has been candid about her struggles with the public. She shared on Instagram during a Q&A that she has "dealt with anxiety for as long as I can remember, and it was especially intense for me as a kid and teenager". She also offered advice to those dealing with something similar, saying "Don't invalidate your feelings. You have every right to feel however you do, even if it seems weird to others, and being hard on yourself won't help you feel better or find a solution."

Despite her struggles with anxiety, Ava continues to push forward and make her dreams a reality. She made her modeling debut in Rodarte's Fall 2018 collection and has starred in ads for her mother's clothing company, Draper James. Since then, she has continued to make a name for herself in the modeling industry and became the face of Pat McGrath's Bridgerton collection in 2021 and modeled for Beyoncé's fashion label, Ivy Park.

...And A Potential Upcoming Acting Career

When Instagram account Deuxmoi posted a blind item about a new actress breaking into acting, we couldn't help but hope they're talking about Ava Phillippe. We saw her attendThe Golden Bachelor finale, but we would love to see Reese Witherspoon's daughter light up the screen! "We haven't seen [this celeb's] acting chops before but if she's anything like her A-list mama we can't wait!!!" says the blind item.

Ava Graduated From UC Berkeley

Beauty and brains! Ava attended UC Berkeley and graduated with her Bachelor's degree in 2022. Upon graduating, Ava has continued to model and nurture her artistic talent. Her Instagram is filled with pictures of her stunning portraits and sketches of things like animals and nature scenes. She also spends her days being a dog mom, and she's not shy about that on social media either!

We're thrilled to kick off our new Jetset Journeys series, where we turn the best U.S. cities to explore this year into our own personal playgrounds. This is not just a travel guide but a way to spark your creativity and your wanderlust for weekend and week-long travel. Pack your bags , join us here every week, and get jetsetty this summer.

Miami has an undeniable appeal for visitors, but with so many neighborhoods to explore and even more bars and restaurants to try, it can be overwhelming, especially if you’re short on time. Recent years have also seen a boom in development, making it even harder to keep up with all the latest offerings. I first came to Miami as a tourist, but after more than a decade of calling South Florida home, I’ve learned a thing or two about this city’s best of the best. It also helps that friends and family are constantly visiting since I live in the land of eternal sunshine (except hurricane season).

Whether you’re traveling with your closest pals or embarking on a romantic getaway with your partner, here’s one local’s perspective on where you should eat, stay and play in Miami.

Where To Stay in Miami

Photo: Eden Roc Miami Beach

Before digging into your weekend plans with tips on where to eat, drink and hang out, you’ll need to choose the best accommodations. If you’re looking to soak up the sun as much as possible, snag a hotel on Miami Beach. Hotels on the beach are notoriously expensive, but there are a few good deals out there, especially if you stray outside of South Beach. The award-winning Eden Roc Miami Beach is a solid, oceanfront option with bright, spacious rooms and multiple pools, including two kid-friendly ones in case you have little ones in tow. The resort is located in Mid Beach so you’re close to all the South Beach buzz, but also far enough to catch a break in a more relaxing environment. For an even more budget-friendly option, consider staying at Freehand Miami, a chicer-than-you’d-expect hostel with both private and shared rooms.

Photo: Kimpton EPIC Hotel

If you’re more of a city gal in search of Miami’s cultural side, then check out Downtown Miami or Brickell. The Kimpton EPIC Hotel is my personal favorite in the area, with its rooftop pools in the middle of Miami’s skyline and views of Biscayne Bay.

What To Do in Miami: Day One

Photo: Strawberry Moon

Brunch is practically an institution in Miami, so with only 48 hours on your hands, it’s the perfect place to start. For a group, I’d recommend heading to Palace Bar for its infamous drag brunch, with queens dancing, flipping and lip syncing for the enthusiastic crowds fueled by bottomless mimosas. Be sure to bring dollar bills to tip your favorite queens for all their acrobatics. If you prefer brunch with a side of pool party, book a table at Strawberry Moon, where brunch is served Friday through Sunday in an aesthetically pleasing setting.

Photo: Strawberry Moon

With either option, you’ll be right in South Beach so come prepared with a change of clothes and make your way to the sand next.

This particular stretch of Miami Beach is the most popular amongst tourists (less so with locals) so you might have some crowds, but it’s worth it to experience quintessential Miami. For a more local experience, head a bit north and pull up your chair at Haulover Beach. If you’re feeling cheeky, there’s even a nude beach nearby.

Come dinnertime, Española Way is one of my favorite streets in South Beach. Strolling up and down this pedestrians-only, European-style street, you could easily forget you’re in Miami. Pop into Tropezón for Spanish tapas and creative gin cocktails in an Andalusian-inspired space, then continue the night at M2 or LIV for megaclub vibes, and don’t be surprised if you bump into celebrities at the latter.

If you’re more into the lounge experience with good music you can vibe or dance to and quality cocktails, then check out Medium Cool.

What To Do In Miami: Day Two

Photo: Joia Beach by Katie June Burton

One of the beauties of Miami is its skyline, so grab breakfast at a place with a view. Brunch at La Mar by Gastón Acurio is a crowd pleaser amongst tourists and locals. Reserve an outside table at this Michelin-recommended restaurant for the best views of Brickell and Biscayne Bay while you enjoy the Peruvian cuisine. For a slightly more casual brunch where you can sink your toes in the sand while still enjoying a view, head to Joia Beach for Mediterranean-inspired bites.

Photo: Joia Beach

Once you’re fueled up, spend the afternoon exploring Miami’s artsy side with a trip to Wynwood. Whether I’m with friends, family or my partner, this neighborhood is one of my go-to weekend spots.

Photo: Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau; Street Art by Ron English

Miami’s Art District is known for having over 200 murals spread across 50+ blocks, so take your time exploring the street art — and of course snapping some IG-worthy photos along the way. There are plenty of boutiques and art galleries to browse, too.

Photo: Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau

If you need an afternoon pick-me-up, try a cafecito or cortadito at Enriqueta’s Sandwich Shop. This Cuban coffee may look small, but it packs a serious punch so trust me when I say that one cup is enough, maybe two if you’re a caffeine fein. While you’re there try any of the classic Cuban snacks and sandwiches this shop offers.

Photo: Julia & Henry’s

Finish your last night strong by hanging out in the downtown/Brickell area. When I’m with friends and working on a budget (eating out in Miami can really add up unfortunately), I like to stop by Julia & Henry’s, a food hall with global cuisine and comfort food.

Photo: Gekko by Michael Stavaridis

If you have some room in your wallet, Gekko works well for small groups, while the dimly lit Dirty French Steakhouse is my recommendation as the perfect cozy spot for couples.

Photo: Sugar

For a nightcap, there’s no shortage of rooftop bars in Brickell, but Sugar is my favorite with its garden-like atmosphere, tasty drinks and 360-degree city views.

The Wellnesss Girlies™ on the internet are at it again – this time with a sip known as the Sleepy Girl Mocktail. The mocktaildrink is made with only three ingredients, and is said to facilitate deep, high-quality sleep when sipped right before bedtime. I put this trending nighttime Sleepy Girl Mocktail recipe to the test so you can feel it out for yourself.

Scroll along for the Sleepy Girl Mocktail recipe and how it can help you get in some good shut-eye!

What is the Sleepy Girl Mocktail?

Image via Anna Tukhfatullina Food Photographer/Stylist / PEXELS

The Sleepy Girl Mocktail is a tart cherry juice mocktail that originates from TikTok. Holistic health influencers and athletes have been praising the concoction for its benefits in aiding restful sleep and healthy digestion.

“The wellness world is obsessing over finding ways to get better and more regular sleep,” says Lainie from @lainiecooks on TikTok. “I think this trend will start moving into daily habits you can change for optimal sleep, and what foods you can eat that contain natural melatonin or high levels of magnesium to help you unwind, relax, and lower cortisol levels."

Why is the Sleepy Girl Mocktail good for sleep?

The traditional recipe for the Sleepy Girl Mocktail is tart cherry juice, magnesium glycinate powder, and Olipop (or any sparkling drink – but I personally love Olipop for its gut health benefits). The drink promotes the body’s melatonin production to support sleep, says Dr. Renee Korczak, Ph.D., RDN, CSSD, LD.

“Tart cherries, which as most people don’t know, are filled with a lot of nutrients, like antioxidants, anthocyanins, and notably for this use case, melatonin,” says Dr. Korczak. “Melatonin strongly affects the human sleep-wake cycle to help support sleep.”

When combined with magnesium glycinate, the drink’s effects are, well, more effective for sleep.

“Magnesium is a mineral with several functions, as it assists with hundreds of enzymatic bodily reactions like energy production, protein synthesis, muscle contractions, and more,” says Dr. Korczak. “In terms of sleep, magnesium can help regulate certain neurotransmitters, or chemical messengers that relay messages between nerve cells in your brain.”

Before taking a sip, it’s important to evaluate your needs for supplemental magnesium. It’s a good idea to talk with your doctor about any intake concerns, especially since magnesium can impact other medications you may be taking. Further, you can get in magnesium organically by snacking on fruits, nuts, chia seeds, and even dark chocolate!

According to Dr. Korczak, insufficient sleep and poor sleep quality are common issues amongst many Americans. She shared a few tips to consider before reaching for that tart cherry juice to make the mocktail:

  1. Establish a regular bedtime.
  2. Create a restful environment, and limit the use of devices and TV watching before bed.
  3. Don’t overeat before you go to bed. Also, don't go to bed hungry, and avoid alcohol and / or caffeine prior to bed, as these can interfere with sleep.

What you'll need:
How to make the Sleepy Girl Mocktail:
  1. Pour the tart cherry juice in a glass over ice.
  2. Add the magnesium glycinate powder, and stir until fully dissolved.
  3. Top your Sleepy Girl Mocktail off with Olipop for added digestive benefits, and sip your way to good sleep!

Did the magnesium-filled Sleepy Girl Mocktail actually help me sleep?

I am truly a Sleepy Girl by nature. I think I could fall asleep just about anywhere if I was tired enough, but figured I would try the mocktail recipe to see if it really could boost my tiredness and send me off into a peaceful night’s sleep.

Making the tart cherry mocktail was terribly easy. I slowly sipped it about an hour before bedtime, when I already felt the sleepies kicking in. The taste was super tart, thanks to the cherry juice, but it wasn’t painfully sour. I definitely plan to play around with the juice-to-Olipop ratio next time I make it!

Upon waking the next morning, I didn’t feel like my sleep was wildly transformed – but I did sleep good. I can likely attribute that to the regular sleep schedule I’ve been on for months now, so I can’t speak on the mocktail’s effects too strongly. It was delicious, though, and I could see myself sipping it whenever I’m craving a yummy nighttime drink.

I’m no expert, but I imagine this drink is super beneficial for those struggling with sleep already. If you’re having issues maintaining a regular sleep schedule, the Sleepy Girl Mocktail is perfect for you!

Overall, the Sleepy Girl Mocktail earns an 8/10 for me.
